Comic Hero Manips 101

WHATEVER these are called, they look cool. Iron Fist juxtaposed with Katana makes a sort of sense, and I like it. And besides, this is YOUR art; you can call it, or better yet do with it, as much or as little as you like. Now you know it's art, because some people like it, and some don't. That's a good sign.

See I think the issue here is You believe that Manips should be big glaring differences from the original artwork that you can easily pick out.

Sorry,... My manips are "tweaks" to make a character either look better or go in a different direction.

Hahahahahahhahahahahahaha...

I'm sorry if I sound like a jerk, I only had about 3 hours sleep, but you've got a lot to learn in the way of making something 'look better'. For starters, use higher quality images to being with, and for goodness sakes find yourself a good photoshop tutorial.

photoshop?
as in actually burn calories finding something other than the "paint" that came with windows?

Sorry,.. I'll have to get more interest in what I compare to "doodling" for my own enjoyment before I upgrade my tools.

No heat,.. Just like the guys trying to define for me exactly what "qualifies" as a manip,... I can't get more than mildly annoyed if someone needs to "slam" my efforts at imporving (in my eyes) something I came across,.. or put a different spin on it.

(Maybe since the images are so crude I should put a blurb under each of what I see when I produce them.)

i've always wondered why some of the female characters wear the costumes they do, but then i remember most artists and readers are male, so there you go.

i've always thought it funny that during battle, it seems as though our heroine's costumes always rip and tear at just the right places without revealing everything for the boys lol.

I really wish they had kept her around a bit longer,.. and gave her this variation of the SG costume.
