Comedy Community - Part 4

Welcome to the Family debuted with a thud last Thursday with a 1.1 and 2.99 million viewers. Community did reach a 1.0 and 2.32 million viewers last season after starting season four with a 1.9 and 3.88 million.

The rest of the Thursday night lineup is also in trouble so Community should be back on the air sooner rather than later. They have 2 comedies scheduled for midseason on Tuesdays and one multi-cam as well.

I'd love to see Community come back soon. Has it been confirmed how many episodes there are this season, or how many were ordered for the 'front half'?

13 episodes for now, they may get a few more episodes depending when the show debuts and how their other comedies do.

There's a new guy in the office, and he's the first person in my office to be a fan of this show too.

I want to ask him to start hosting a fake morning talkshow with me. Too fast, too soon? I don't want to set myself up for heartbreak again.

I wish Eliza Coupe would come back now that Happy Endings is over :(

I've always wondered if Glover suffered from sort of clinical depression. He had a lot of songs with that of tone during his mixtape days.

It also reads like he's struggling with more than what people realize. He made several references to his sexual preferences (both the girlfriend getting pregnant and possibly being bisexual), to his personal and professional life (lost/losing family and friends, doubting his success is real), his music career also is a problem with the studios controlling him there.

That open letter seems pretty serious, but one thing I did notice about the open letter that seems kinda random is "I'm Scared I'll be Tyrese".It's like it's all really serious then hey he's scared of being like Tyrese (I don't blame him though).I wonder what he means exactly by that.

Tyrese has done fairly well as an actor, so I don't know what he means by that either.

Tyrese had a couple mediocre hits over 10 years ago and if it wasn't for the Fast and Furious franchise he would have faded into obscurity after Baby Boy.

Sorry, but this made me laugh. Maybe that's part of what Glover's afraid of.
That's my guess. He was a musician first, then an actor and now a punchline... I guess?

Maybe. I don't remember how big or small Tyrese's music career was. Only that he had some songs and some women thought he was hot. But, I guess it was small enough that some people didn't even know he simply went by "Tyrese" years ago. Then, he started doing films and uses his full name, though he's doing that TGT thing again.

Maybe Donald knows something within the music industry about Tyrese that we don't. I can't remember anyone making fun of Tyrese's music career.

People made fun him like they did Ja Rule or people do Drake now.

Does Drake really count since it seems to not really affect his popularity? I know Ja Rule got his career killed with that beef with 50 Cent.
