Community will boast not one, but two very special guest stars from Arrested Development this coming season.

In addition to series creator Mitch Hurwitz, who will play Greendale's ultimate party animal, David Cross has signed on for an appearance, Vulture reports.

Cross will play Hank Hickey, the "bitterly estranged son" of Jonathan Banks' recurring character, Professor Hickey. In the episode, which serves as a sequel to 2011's beloved Dungeons & Dragons episode, Cross' character joins the study group for the "second-most important game of Dungeons & Dragons ever."

Community returns with back-to-back new episodes on Thursday, Jan. 2 at 8/7c on NBC. Are you excited to see Cross join the study group?
