That was epically funny, though I think last week's was better (they had more fun with the western motif, IMO).

And I don't think Pierce is gone. It will be resolved by the end of the first episode next season, much like Jeff's kiss with Annie. I think we should all know not to take these characters and plots too seriously.

Has anyone else been secretly pulling for Annie and Abed ever since he pulled Jon Hamm on her while practicing his flirting in season 1? Maybe not for an entire relationship or anything (too weird?) but once in a while they definitely make it obvious that she finds him charming.

YES! I'm glad that I'm not the only one!

Props to the show for finding a way to have on-screen sodomy, even if it was just two flags.

I'm not a shipper but I've always wanted Abed and Annie to get together. Mostly because Abed's my favorite guy and Annie is my favorite girl and they will make a Super-Couple! But I didn't really think much of it until they touched on it tonight.

Be you.... SHIPPERS!?!?!?!?

I just said not an actual extended relationship per say :csad:; but they could definitely find some comedic value for a few episodes (Jeff and the teacher didn't hurt anything).

It also didn't hurt during the Annie's Pen episode (I think?) when they discovered Jeff and Brita had been messing around. As long as it isn't a focal point and meshes with everything else I think it could be fun.

A Troy jealousy episode. A Troy is neglected now episode. A relationship is making the group awkward episode, whatever. I trust the writers unequivocally.

HAHAHAHA! That didnt even occur to me! OMG thats awesome

This clip planted the seed, and I was sold from then on. I was wondering if they were ever going to touch on it again. When they started to tonight, I was pretty pumped.

how about the epic call-back to Troy's plumbing skills...

Also did anyone else notice the kid from Cougar Town just standing there in one of the last scenes of the fight? Random drop by the competitions studio??? I don't remember ever seeing him as a character on there and Cougar Town started the same time as Community so maybe he was a random student in one of the first few episodes?

I didn't think they could do it, but they did. It was better than last year's Paintball episode. These writers are my heroes.

Also apparently the writers of Community and the writers of Cougar Town love each other's shows, so they try to cross promote best they can.:D

Well, the Community & Cougar Town writers respect each other and have a fun relationship, remember from Abed's love of CT...

Great finale to a really fantastic season. The ending was pretty perfect, with Pierce redeeming himself and actually rejecting the group (or maybe not, we'll have to see).

@ antsman: hahaha, that's right. I completely forgot about that. That has to be it because that was definitely him.

Couldn't agree more about the writers. What the writers of Community and Modern Family are doing are blowing everybody else out of the water sitcom wise. Kudos to both CT and Big Bang, but they're still not close.

"Pop what magnitude?,pop what?"

Yeah, the kid and Busy Phillips were in like a 2 second shot, thought I was seeing things. Amazing finale, didn't think it could top last weeks, but it did.

Just watched Part 1 and Part 2 together they really flowed well together.

One thing I liked about the finale is that Pierce reverted back to his Season 1 self at the end--The guy who was weird and senile, but deep down, had more wisdom than anyone thought.

Loved the episode. I'm not a fan of ships but I could definitely get behind Abed and Annie. But nothing will probably come of it. I also liked the quick cameo of Laurie and the son from Cougar Town. That was awesome.

I figured that you guys may like this. From the Hype Recast thread....my recast of Community using Hypsters:

Community-Show-Logo-NBC.png

Jeff Winger: Erzengel

Britta Perry: AndthePickles

Annie Edison: Sensi

Abid Nadir: Spider-Fan

Troy Barnes: Colossal Spoons

Shirley Bennett: Kel

Pierce Hawthorne: C. Lee

Senor Chang: Matt

Dean Pelton: JP

Professor Duncan: Hunter Rider

Leonard: Superman

Vaughn: Kane52630

Starburns: Catman (they're both creepy, anyhow)

The Greendale Human Being: TEDDY

the best pat about the 2 part finale was that both parts have one story. but they change the theme from western to SW. which is why Community is good and fresh. they are original and fresh.

Aben could be anyone he wanted to be . he could be the president if it would be a game to him. but when the game is over he is just a weird kid. funny and at the same time despresing.
