''Other way around. This episode was shot before last week's episode, "Competitive Ecology". Which, if anything, confirms that the real timeline is the one where Abed wasn't there (the realistic, unhappy one). Also, as has now been pointed out to me via Twitter: Abed says he hopes this reality is the real one since he found a nickel in the hallway. What's one of the first things to happen in "Competitive Ecology"? Abed provides Pierce change to pay for the water fountain.''

shocked shocked how much character develoment they get in 20 minutes. with comedy and insane continuity:woot:

I love how Community can pull off being a comedic LOST in 22 minutes...

That center, or “prime” timeline, is the one in which Abed catches the die, exposes Jeff as a selfish hooligan and the group sends him down for the pizza. That is the “real” timeline. And when we were not in it, I did everything I could to make it clear. As much fun as we want to have, we never want to confuse you or lie to you. We just don’t consider that a right that we have.

Dan's right in that he made it clear which was the real timeline. I dont get where all these theories are coming from. Even evil abed knew his timeline wasnt the right one.

Maybe it's the appeal of those timelines that make people come up with different theories.

I loved the timeline with Troy and Britta in the bathroom. It was really cute.

But in the end I'm glad Abed called Jeff on the dice rolling. It was something I noticed right away that he took himself out of contention. I was wondering how that would work out.

Abed is just... so funny it's painful. He's for sure my favorite. I agree that this was probably the best episode of this season so far.

Yeah, the amount of stuff they managed do to in a single episode is pretty mind-blowing on its own. There are entire movies that can't handle multiple timelines, and those are usually working with much less than six (or it is seven?).

One of the more brilliant parts of the latest episode was when Jeff kept hitting his head on the fan and I knew it was coming, pretty much, everytime and I laughed my ass off like Pierce.

Britta starting to sing with Jeff cutting her off got me rolling every time...

I don't know why they killed the Jeff/Britta storyline. Jeff and Annie is creepy. Even in last night's episode, Annie said Jeff reminded her of her father.

That's the point. Jeff and annie are comedy gold. That's why the show has been playing with it for so long.

Going to another Harmontown monday night in LA. Dan is great. I'm excited.

I'm taking a shot at this, but I predict there will be an actual episode where the Evil Community from Dice Roll 1 universe cross over into the Prime universe.

this would be a fantastic season finale. :wow::awesome:

and then a twist for season 4. one of the characters from the evil timeline stays in the prime timeline. :woot:

Troy has really stepped it up this season, soooo many good lines from him this during this episode

'rolls dice onto table, begins to read manual* ''ok ,how to play Yatzee''.

Shirley:''Time flies when you're baking''
Troy:''no it doesnt''

Wow. This is my favorite episode of the series. It shows how insane this show can be and how heartfelt this show can be. Everything that makes this series great is packed into this episode. This is the episode that defines the series.

This pretty much sums up my thoughts as well. Really, really great episode all around.
