Daredevil Compare DD Season 1 with the rest of the MCU

Now, I suppose you could do this episode by episode, but even the showrunners have called the season "one 13 hour long movie." Therefore I'm ranking mine as an entire season. Including all the ups and downs. It both surprises and fills me with joy to say that it has surpassed a greater majority of the content thus far released by Marvel/Disney

I'd say it's better than the movies. But good tv these days usually is. They have much more time to explore the story and characters and don't have to rely on sfx and big explosions.

The only parts of the MCU I genuinely dislike so far are the two ABC shows. I almost wish they didn't exist, because I like seeing everything that goes on in the MCU. But I just can't bring myself to watch an hour of SHIELD every week, so I'll just live with not knowing the specifics in that part of the MCU.

Though I'm not finished watching all of Daredevil yet, so its ranking could easily change.

Good TV is very different than a good film and I haven't seen all the Daredevils yet. So far if I had to I would put it above any other of their TV efforts( I haven't seen agent Carter) and beating out IM2 and 3 and maybe TIH depending on how the Kingpin develops.

Also, worth noting that I don't think any of these movies/TV shows are bad. Just which are the best IMO. All Add to the canon. The sum total is greater than each individually.

It's the only MCU related show I watched, and I won't rank it above most movies.
Easily better than Thor 2, that's for sure.

I do think Daredevil's ambition may have outpaced the show itself, which still ended up being very, very good, and will be something I'll revisit in the future. It makes me very excited to see the other Marvel Netflix shows, and gives me hope for the MCU on television. In terms of ranking it against everything else...
