Yeah, I wonder if that was to get to 800 quicker so Dan slott could leave. It especially feels inconsistent with the rules elsewhere.

I'm also on the fence about whether Captain Marvel should include Carol Danvers' Ms. Marvel book or Mar-Vell's book for legacy numbering.
