This talentless *****e from a fanfilm.

The only true to comics sized Superman we've gotten. But everybody labels him a musclebound steroid oof but I think he was pretty good.

And yet people bring out the same argument for SR "it's just a trailer, you don't know how he acts yet". This guy hardly has any lines in the World's Finest trailer which is made up of very brief clips and everybody writes him off instantly. Reminded me of the Superman For All Seasons Superman.

Right image and physique for Superman even if he doesn't have the acting chops. World's Finest was always supposed to be style over sustance as Collera films go.

And you take a guy fired off a soap opera instead?

I would also take the Lois Lane in this film vs. Bosworth...maybe even the Luthor over Spacey. Kryptonian armor was great. Batman was just pathetic though. What was he? 4 foot tall 60 year old?

Where does he even say "I'm just a country boy" in that trailer? The lines he gives are no better/worse than what we've heard from Routh so far...except Routh had a much more Reeve's-like Clark and this guy was a post-crisis confident Clark.

I think World's Finest more than holds it's own, and you are comparing a trailer that cost $12,000 to make in total versus a trailer that probably cost $12 million from an overall budget nearing $300 million. You guys are so hypocritically hellbent on defending SR while at the same time lambasting WF when I think it's just as worthy of a good defense itself.

I'm comparing image, not acting because like you all tell me, you can't judge acting from trailers. I'm sorry, I can't say Routh has any better line delivery at all than Micheal from what little we've seen/heard. Routh is just doing "I'll speak with a bit of a whimper for Clark" and "I'll speak with a lower voice with little intonation" for Supes.

I never said the guy was a good actor, he's probably crap from what B grade films he has done (ironically he played a guy named "Kane" in some 1993 flick). But from what I've seen, I personally prefer WF to SR. But that's the comics purist in me speaking.

Sure the right delivery may be there. I'm not taking anything away from Routh's acting. I've never critisized his acting in any of my posts (other than mentioning his role in a soap opera which is just a fact). I'm just defending WR and the people who made it and did a fine job in my opinion. I could whip out the "let's see you do better" but that's childish.

Im not dissing Sandy's production, it was impressive for him to create all that...as low budget as it was.

Im just saying Michael O'Hearn wouldnt exactly be anywhere close to a decent choice for the role. He was casted for a fanfilm.....check his IMDB, hes never really done anything outside the realm of crappy lowbudget productions.

In fact, it says he hasnt done anything since World's Finest.....

I agree with Kane on that Michael O' Hearn a terrible Superman. He may look like the comic book Supes come to life, but he can't act crap. I prefer someone with talent & in athletic shape than a musclebound porn star with no talent. O' Hearn will never be that good of an actor Routh is.
