Confess - you listen to what?

I guess Suzane Vega is pretty bad? Damn it though, I like most of her songs.
The only Suzanne Vega song I ever liked was this one...

And I have a very eclectic mix of artists on my MP3 player. Black Sabbath, Sweet, Rob Zombie, Nirvana, Puddle of Mudd, Saliva, The Stylistics, Foster Slyvers, Extreme, Anita Baker, Prince, Lenny Kravitz, Teriyaki Boyz, System of a Down, RATM, etc. As far as Michael Jackson goes, I like the songs that no one really pays attention to; like Liberian Girl, Stranger in Moscow, Speed Demon, and They Don't Care About Us.

Speaking of 90s songs, anyone besides me use to jam to this?

classical music, Sweeney todd soundtrack.

WTF is wrong with people that they think orchestral music (assuming its not a Final Fantasy soundtrack or something) is at all embarassing. The vast majority of the best music in history is "classical".

A bunch of other artists people are naming too, somebody covered James Taylor already, but Elton John, Chicago, The Carpenters, Depeche Mode and other New Wave bands, Phillip Glass(?), they're all completely legitimate normal things to like.

If you're gonna have some vices, make them worthwhile:

Also Apollo I don't know if you're listening to the movie soundtrack, but if you are see if you can find the original soundtrack for Sweeney Todd the people in it are actual singers (if you're listening to the new Broadway version it's also good but this is still worth a listen):

I'm way into trance, techno, D&B, etc. Not sure how many people around here knew that; some of you, I'm sure

80's music, especially Duran Duran, hell I even like the Heavy Metal & Transformers Soundtracks to the 80's films. And the strange thing I didn't grow up in the 80's, A View To The Kill triggered it all when I fell in love that Duran Duran song at the age of 5.

heh,

We all have our "hidden shame"
:)

Shame? what shame? :woot: seems, we have the same taste in music lol
Wonder how many people secretly listen to "forbidden music"

New Wave is the sh-t.

Flock of Seagulls > Duran Duran :o

Yeah, I said it! :cmad:

Love Flock too. Also gotta throw Soft Cell out there. They're considered one hit wonders with 'Tainted Love' but songs like 'Sex Dwarf' and 'Torch' were unappreciated classics IMO.

I have seen Depeche Mode in concert...same with Chicago....and a few others.
You cant deny their power!
