Anyway, I am in teh Sony group, but I am not a die hard of any system really. I respect Microsoft and think it has had 2 very good systems, but it's games just never really interested me. I've never been a big fan of FPSs so while I know Halo is a great game, I also knew it was somethig I would rarely ever play. Sony's last 2 systems have had the games I enjoy the most, and it appears that the next one will too (but we'll see about that). As for the Wii, I am still very skeptical on the machine, it could be great or it could be really lacking like the gamecube. I might get one in a year or so, but probably not until then.

Oh, and I am not a fanboy of any system. Last gen I liked Xbox and PS2, while I didn't really like GameCube. Mainly because my favorite Nintendo franchise, The Legend of Zelda, had it's worst entry in the series, imo, The Wind Waker. But the Wii looks really awesome, much more so then the GameCube. I think 360 is the best system this gen, with games such as: BioShock, Mass Effect, Halo 3, Gears of War, Alan Wake, etc.. Sony has exclusives I need also, like: MGS4, DMC4, FFXIII, etc.. Overall, of all-time, I guess my favorite gaming moments have been with PlayStation, as Kingdom Hearts and MGS are probably my favorite series.

I never completed MGS2 (couldn't get past the Raiden parts), but I played the hell out of MGS1, in fact I should get that release that comes with the VR missions

Oh, good. You should definately try to beat MGS2 though, since MGS4 takes place directly after it. Plus, the end has very important story plot's.

Near the end there were some pretty awesome parts with Raiden, but definately some of the parts were pretty annoying. I'm sure you could get either version for like, 5 dollars though.

They're both awesome, maybe MGS3 is better, but MGS2 ties into the story more, and MGS is all about the story. So..
