Ok, someone gave me an idea by mentioning Silver Surfer's homeworld. (And, while I love the idea of the Lost island, I don't want those who don't watch the show to be out in the dark.) With the help of The Watcher, each contestant will be transported to an alien world that is being destroyed by Galactus. Each contestant knows they are not allowed to change the events around them, as it could cause damage to the future of everyone's lives. (Those aliens running around them are going to die, no matter what. You cannot save them!) You have 12 hours until the world will be destroyed...at which time, if you think your characters would still be fighting, you will be transported to an already ravaged world that has been sucked dry, but given oxygen for you to fight.

ahh but if you actually read that issue youll see that he tells cyclops he isnt french he just chooses that accent to 'find purpose' as he puts it.he isnt french but he also isnt called Charlie Cluster 7 regardless of what uxn says....the creator of that bio didnt read that issue properly...he was reading a letter that he found in the compound and as he read it he changed his accent which caused cyclops to question it and also the letter was signed 'Charlie Cluster 7' which is why people get confused...on print you cant really make someone change their voice or read something but that is what happens

so bottom line....he aint french

That was his experiment designation (Charlie Cluster 7). I might have to reread the issue again, though.

im sure he was reading a letter/note from either a scientist or another experiment who called himself Charlie Cluster 7

I think it's been generally accepted that was in fact Fantomex's name. Numerous websites have it as an alias or name, amongst them UXN, Wikipedia, ComiXfan etc.

Just random. Aliens running around, screaming. You won't have time to worry about technology or anything. Things are beyond crazy, and it would be foolish to waste time trying to understand the language or use. I will say that the opponents will be transported within 100 feet of each other when the battle starts. (With the 12 hour time limit, I didn't want people arguing that one character wouldn't find the other.)

ha so its an all out battle purely going off strength alone....hmmm interesting.it will show just how useless the over skilled are if they lack the strength to take their opponent down

It's official! Comics just went out today. Midnight Ice, I sent yours Priority Mail...I figure it should arrive Tuesday or Wednesday. Nightwing, let me just say that you are hella expensive!!! I had a choice between 32.00 for a process that would take 4-6 weeks or 46.00 for around 8-12 days. I felt generous and you should have yours arrive in a week or two. Also, I filled about half of your request. You have 22 Spawn books, 2 Spawn related, and the rest is pretty much Marvel.

man thanks a lot.they are awesome.out of all of em i have one duplicate which is the Robin II Jokers Wild Part 2 but because i have the whole mini series unopened with hologram cards and all forms of covers then im gonna keep this one as well.

Well guys, I am back and more refreshed. I needed to take some time on my own and that's what I did. I am going to post my rebuttals tonight, although it will be more of plans I thought up over this time Blaze. So expect to see them later tonight...

Ah...to win comics, now, all you have to do is have a character either win it or come in second place. Of course, if you really want some comics, just make sure you pick the worst contestants starting Contest of Marvels II.

I Love this game, but I know that I have been investing too much time in it, so that's why I made my decision. I might decide later on to pick up a 1st round's drop out character (if that happens). But I will have to make that decision at a later point.

Wolves, it's great having you here and I hope you do stay. You are great in this tournament but in truth Deadpool and Wolverine has little chance against characters like Thanos and Drax. We all had an equal part in deciding who to pick first, foolishly some had chosen (myself included) some of their favorites. But In hindsight I am still satisfied with my team, I just don't have any heavy hitters to mow down the competition.....

Which's why I suggested we should have a more leveled playin' field, give some characters a decent chance at least. If they're gonna go down, they're gonna go down, but they can at least go down fightin'. But when you include guys like Thanos all it becomes is a battle of th' titans an' whoever was smart enough to pick 'em.

Hell, I'm surprised Mephisto wasn't included.

Although, there could be a ringer distro. Like th' cosmic ultra-powerful types aren't pickable characters, but a random distro after all characters have been selected. That way, everyone has at least ONE major powerhouse.

Honestly, I think this thing could be WAY more interestin' if th' advantages of players are only slight. Means not only do we really hafta get creative, but we'd really hafta work. Yeah, that sounds fun there!

Also, a little more organized character choices an' complete omission of ones not picked or given out. No more ownerless.

I think the real point of this game is to just have fun and see how far you can get certain characters. We all know that only one of the uber powerful people is going to win, and we all know that our characters that aren't uber powerful have numbered days...but none the less, it's still fun to devise strategies, and see how far you can take your characters. If you have uber powerful characters, then even better...but there are a good amount of those so no one is really 100% safe.

I agree it's all about fun, and I was starting to take it seriously, in which I felt I needed to take some time off. Now, if I lose I lose and there's no point crying about it. I'm happy

Although I am still snickering about a plan I have for Thanos...teehee

We all had an an opportunity to research characters. I don't think we need to start classifying them, that will take the fun out of choosing.

I think next season if we do the same as before, but you have to team up two characters, people are going to have to think of their decisions much more...plus, the debate will really be important in determining who to vote for. There will be such a dynamic to it. Are they team members from previous associations? How will did they get along? If you have a good guy with a bad guy, how will they get along?

BTW, I think Mephisto wouldn't have lasted really long in this match up. He's been defeated numerous times before, right? I know I'd pick Thanos over Mephisto.
