Well, the point about it not being used all the time is moot. Any owner in their right mind would have Cap wield the sword in every battle, even without it's reality warping powers.
As for it being allowed on the term(s) that it's reality altering ability is rendered null, then I'm cool with that.

I was thinking more along the lines of the enemy using the sword against him. Like if someone's plan is to get the sword from his hands using telekinesis, and then plans to use it against Captain. It's not always there until the owner decides to pull it out. Then it can be used against him.

well they can use it against him but only as a blade.they would need his amulet to control the reality warping abilities of it so that would be a pointless tactic as a blade isnt gonna affect him considering he has a mystical shield protecting him from most harm

Yeah, but how potent is the blade? The Ebony Blade, for example can cut through pretty much all magical barriers.

Well, I've decided that Victor's characters will just go unowned until the end of round 2. After that I'll decide to either hand them out, or leave them unowned.

In reguards to Captain Britain's Excalibur blade,.. I will officially declaire that it is legal to be used. My only rule with it is that it cannot be used to alter reality, as it would be out of character.

I just realized, are we taking next week off because of the holidays? I am not sure if I am going to be around much next week, and I am sure there are others who will occupied...

Well, I know I'll be away from the computer most of the weekend, but I should be able to get something up on Monday.
Maybe just extend the voting/debating period for a few days to make sure everyone has time to do their thing. That's what I'm doing for the DTL.

For me, it's business as usual. I get the rare Sunday off, but otherwise, I'm working 2 jobs like normal. We could extend debate until I get off work on Tuesday around 5:00 pm PST, and then let voting go until Thursday, same time, or early Friday morning if we want debating to go until Wednesday morning.

Wolverine, I still need to know who you want to advance, Venom or Carrion.

Powderman, I'll need you to get back to me when voting is over for who you'll want to advance, Electro or Sandman.

Blaze, you'll need to let me know who to advance after voting is finished, Grim Reaper or Dark Beast.

Harlekin, you'll need to also let me know who to advance, Frankie Raye or Photon-Genis.

Blaze or Harlekin will be at a disadvantage, as their characters will be facing off for one another. So, whoever tells me first will be giving up information to the other. BUT, as I have a bad memory, I don't want to forget. Let's say by voting of the next round, I will need everyone's decisions; otherwise, the character that was voted to win will be advancing.

Whoever wins the match advances. Simple as that.

I don't mind the picking when one owns both characters. But in situations like this, where two characters owned by one go against two characters owned by another in the next round, the votes should decide. It's the most fair way.

Of course this wouldn't apply of one person owned all four characters. They're so screwed enough all ready (automatically losing 3 characters), so letting them pick which of the four will survive is fine.

I was talking about my two characters, actually. I'm going to let the voting decide and not simple pick one to move on since it defeats the whole purpose of voting to begin with.
But, if you all want to change the rule next season, that'd work.

I regret to inform that i have a seriously large amount of stuff to sort out in my life.im stuck between a rock and a hard place and its getting more cramped so unfortunaley im gonna have to drop out of the contest.

it seemed only wise as i was losing too much anyways and i feel i was wasting alot of time debating. good luck to everyone in the competition and have fun.

Jimminy Cricket Nightwing....you still have Jugs....I am thinking he might be unbeatable as long as he doesn't fight someone like Magneto or Jean Grey.....

I mean he can't be harmed physically and mentally he has the helmet to keep away any telepaths....

You really only need one character like that to win this.....I hope you change your mind......

On a side note, that is most random question I have ever heard in my life Wolves.....that's like asking where is chips after someone telling you their family member died.....LMAO
