Merry Christmas from my family to all of yours. We opened our presents tonight, and my bro traded a car that one of his customers gave our tow company for an old fashioned comic rack (it's from the early 80's, and is like the kind you used to see in stores, like 7-11.) The guy who traded it made my brother promise that it would never be sold. It even has the original topper with face shots of Archie, Spidey, Superman, and Ritchie Rich.

Oh, and X-Box 360 looks great. Only problem is my copy of Perfect Dark keeps saying "place disc in an X-Box 360 system." Just won't play.

Merry Christmas guys. My fun is giving, and we've been able to give my daughter a lot, and she's loving it, so it's fun. I got a DVD player myself (cheep one, but hey, I'm grateful for any) so now I'll be able to watch my DVD's on my big screan. I also got the Fantastic Four DVD. That's about it right now. I'm heading to my father-in-law's soon, so I'll probably get something small there, so we'll see.

I'm going to give voting another 2-3 hours. I'm not sure we'll get anymore votes, anyway; but, I want to try to leave enough time to get up the next matches for the following week to give debaters an extra day with it being New Years and all.

As it seems we have another tie in the Constrictor vs. Strong Guy match, JH and I discussed the chance of a third week tie early in round 1. We agreed that we'd approach Sparta in presenting the match in his daily tournament. Since Sparta's agreed to do this, it would seem like that might be what's going to happen. SO, that leaves a question or two: Do the two people involved in the match put up a one post debate why they think their character should win? (I say one post, because I don't think Sparta wants his thread filled with our debating.) Or, do we just want to leave everything up to the unbiased voters without any input from us?? If we have a one post debate, we might want each of the people involved to PM Sparta those debates. This way, the person debating second doesn't have an advantage and the debate is available at the same time Sparta puts up the match. Also, we should determine which day it will be; so, those people who are in this tournament know to go and cast their vote. (A big thanks to Sparta for doing this for us if we don't get that extra vote by the time I end voting.)

Huh,.. I forgot about that. Well, I've always said that my memory sucks. I think I'd rather it be this way than to go for a third match. And I think the best idea would be for each person to come up with a defense for their character, then to make sure Sparta has it all so that he may post the characters with the debates. From there let the voters decide, no more debating, so make sure you get all you want to say in your defenses. And i'm not sure how long Sparta keeps his matches open, but I think during the duration of next week's matches should be fine. (though I'll leave that one up to Sparta... sooner or later should be fine.)

Yeah, I can definatley post the Strong Guy vs Constrictor match-up in my tourney, whenever you guys want. My suggestion would be a one post arguement from each player saying their characters strength and weaknesses, then after that, no further debating. I'm cool to do this whenever, just let me know when

Huh Iron Man vs Joseph....the good thing is I have a guaranteed character in the 4th round, the bad thing is that I am losing one of my best characters next round....

So Sparta and Midnight Ice are the leaders, it's amazing how a round changes things since they were near the bottom in the last round...good job guys... I am hoping things will change for you this week Phaedrus....I also notice that I got a a match with you this round.
