You guys can write your first arguements and PM them to me if you want, then i'll post those on the day I post the match-up, then you guys can write your rebuttles, and post them yourselves in the thread...do you guys think that is a good idea, or no?

I think the PM idea is best. That way, neither one has a one-up on the other and the debate get's posted at the same time the match-up does.

Personally, I like the unlimited debating over putting a limit on it. After all, if someone spouts some BS in their rebuttle one should be able to disprove it.

As for PMing them to Sparta, I'm against that. Nothing against you Sparta, but sometimes I am not able to post my opening argument the day the round is opened, and I assume others are in this boat as well.
With having to PM my first argument to someone before the battles go up would cause it to be rushed and, well, not that good. Not to mention it would delay things if someone was unable to write a first argument in time.
We all should be able to take our time with our battle plans and write them up properly.

You don't have to PM them to me immediatley dude...just before I post the match-up which would be late Wednesday night, or early Thursday morning. But ultimatley the characters don't belong to me, so you guys decide what you want to do and let me know...I will simply put what you guys want into action.

I understand your concern, Blaze. But, with Sparta's thread, you might lose a lot of votes if you don't have an immediate post after he's posted the match-up.

Anyway, I say leave it up to the individual who own the character. If you want your debate posted as soon after he's posted the match, it's up to you to decide if that would be more benificial.

Hmmm...usually people are allowed to change their vote on your thread. Are we going to allow this, or just go with first vote like we do?

I'm thinking it should be as close to this tourney as possible. So only the owners get to debate, although voters can ask questions. And you're not allowed to change votes.

This week's matches will ne held at the Empire State University, where Peter Parker went to College. Everyone is gone away for March Break...well at least everyone who is important.... I told you it will be a safe location this week...

Man I have been off in everything lately. With this flu..cold..whatever...it has knocked me out...my whole family is actually....The worst is spending all night up with a sick child and trying to go to work the next day while being sick yourself...

I can't even think clearly (I still can't), and I am actually sorry Phaedrus. I am actually scared to go over what I wrote because I was definitely not all there this week....

I got one match this week and I might let it fly since it was a pick up(I need some rest).....

No worries. It's all understandable, and we both debated the hell out of our characters. I'd be disappointed if you didn't give it your all. I don't think you said anything offensive, if that's what you're getting at. This is a match-up I can see going either way, in complete honesty. If you have ten writers at Marvel going to write a match-up between Kid Omega and Black Bolt, it might actually be split right down the middle of who'd win. And, if you and I were writers, we've just given reasons why in our book our character would win. (This is the method I used in combating Mandarin, after all. In a Slott book, Mandarin would get totally humilitated by She-Hulk for that get-up...and you only helped in my case by making the location Hell. Hey, I have got 4 votes, so far! Almost tied.)

Just get better, my friend. I know there is nothing worse than having a sick child. You feel so helpless, and you just wish there was some way that you can take all their misery and put it on yourself...but, sometimes when they are sick and your holding them, you feel so good to be able to share the love you feel for them in that caring parental embrace.

It's hard seeing them sick. There is no question about that. I just hope they will feel better soon.

BTW it's always a pleasure to go up against you Phaedrus, although I am not really not interested in going through a second week of the same characters. I think we debated what we could in that matchup.

Yeah next week is going to be a plain area. I will use one of your suggestions if you want. There pretty good choices.

I think to be fair you should have both arguments. Thus, not gving one character an advantage or by not having any debates just leaves the voters to decide without possibly properly thinking it through....
