I suggest trying to predict who he'll be up against by looking at the bracket, then go from there

That's the thing, I have sandman going up against Strong Guy. So IF he wins he will go up against Joseph or IM next round. Than after that I am not sure.

Hmmm, thats tricky then. I think Iron Man would be better against Sandman...unless Joseph trapped him or something. Iron Man would probably be better against Strong Guy because wouldn't he be able to absorb some of Joseph's energy? either way, IMO i'd go with Iron Man.

Would sand in Iron Man's armor cause any problems? He definitely would have to avoid having eye slots.

Yeah, we did go against each other a lot this round.
I haven't really looked, but hopefully we will both have a more diverse group of opponents for round #3.

And Sparta, it looks like you and me have some matches to debate (grumble grumble). So when's the best time to get them posted? And just so you know, I have a 12 hour day tomorrow and I work probably 8 or so on Saturday, so I may be a little delayed getting my debates to you.
