I tend to go with Brooklyn Bridge myself. That's what's drawn. It is a more iconic recognizable bridge. It makes more sense as the BB connects Manhattan with Brooklyn/Queens, GWB connects Manhattan with New Jersey.
Sat through the interview. I give him credit for giving the interviewer all the time. I'm sure he's a decent guy. I guess he's not unlike the posters here that I argue with.
I know he's not a villain out to ruin Spidey. It is in his best interests to keep all the Marvel titles strong. I just think he has wrong ideas about Spider-Man.
He says people complaining Pete missed his wedding because he was stuck under a fat guy are being trite. Well that's what happened. We didn't write it. His excuse is he was hit in the head by a cinder block. What, Spidey's spider-sense doesn't work with an average person coming at him with cement?
You can see this guy is still hung up on Gwen. Yeah we know that scene was in the Annual. But, Pete talking to Gwen on the bridge has been as common as Pete talking to Uncle Ben at his grave site. It made sense in the story, as Gwen was his first real love. It was setting up doubt about the end of the story, as was MJ's bachelor-ette party.
And yeah they both were having cold feet. A lot of people do before a wedding. The point was, they overcame the cold feet because they were in love and wanted to spend the rest of their lives together (or until a better offer comes up from Mephisto
).
Oh, I thought it was Puma who gave Pete & MJ the honeymoon, not "Bruce."
