Days of Future Past Costume debate!!

So with pictures already released and I'm sure more to come I thought lets compare what we are seeing now to previous movies!

I'm loving the costumes! I think they look edgy! I think it freshens it all up but pays homage to previous movies.

I love the armour suits from the 4 promo pics released to date.

About the yellow/black one of Wolverine, I need to see it in full, looks promising... but for some reason Im loving the black armour more right now.

what Im excited about is to see that green/white suit of Rogue!!

Ill have to see the complete roster before I make that vote, I like what I have seen so far though. Hoping for some amazing surprises.

I like the costumes that we have seen so far. But we still have seen like 60% of them.

Man I cannot wait to see these in full. I think singer has fully realized his vision here. hes not restricted by the "play it safe" times of 2000-2003. There's some serious sci if fantasy feel going on and I absolutely love that. All the while not loosing the true essence of the character. I can't wait to see wolverine and rogue. My only wish, ONLY wish is that cyclops could have been involved. I just can't believe he's missing and it really breaks my heart. Could you imagine him with this kind of suit, with gold and blue accents.

At least everything looks fantasticly designed and we have singer back. Beggers can't be choosers haha.

X4 (DOFP) is the return of the original cast while X5 could be featuring the return of Cyclops. I don't really think they could focus on Cyclops if you have Wolverine timetravelling and the First Class cast, fan boys would just to continue to whine about Cyclops' role. But in X5, without time-travel and First Class cast, they could put more focus on Cyclops especially if he's the only one who's coming back from the grave.

And if that happened, in hind sight, fans of Cyclops would be happy that FOX/Singer didn't include Cyclops in X4 (DOFP).

I agree I think we definitely got a lot more costumes to come! And I also,agree he's being a little bolder plus period clothing is always fun to have!

I LOVE the armor suits, but storms looks a little off, and I really wished bobby wasn't wearing that disco jacket, and wished kitty had an armor suit too instead of a jacket . . . Hopefully they look better on screen.

Lucas till has a role in this film and yet he wasn't at the panel, so I don't see why cyclops couldn't make an appearance

Undecided. Not too impressed from what we have seen tbh. Can't really get a good look at them from the shots though.

Good costumes, fits to the postapocaliptic time, reminds Terminator, Madmax and Cyborg movie.

I voted for best costumes yet! It looks better compare to the costumes of the previous X-Men films.

So far I only like Bishops, but that's mainly because we haven't really seen any of the others. Knowing Singer though, I would bet money the rest of the X-men(original cast)in the future/present time are also going to be wearing black like Prof X and Magneto.

Their costumes need to look cohesive especially if they are working as 1 group.

I haven't seen enough to judge. While the top of Bishop's costume looks pretty good (mainly because he has the red sash), Xavier and Magneto's costumes look pretty generic so far. Storm's is cool, but also doesn't really have anything to do with anything. I am HUGELY in favor of having costumes that reflect the type of world they're going to be struggling/fighting in, however, I would like to finally see an X-Men movie where I can look at the costumes and think... those are inspired.

Most of the X-Men have at least a few iconic looks, so it wouldn't hurt if the costume designer did a little research (I don't think I have to go into detail again about how much her work disappoints me). For example, Magneto's iconic look always has that metal bolted neckline. That could easily be incorporated into the armored look of the future timeline. Rogue has the stripe-lined hood. Storm just needs tight black leather and maybe some punk flair. These are all so simple and easy to incorporate.

What with the new Jennifer Lawrence picture, although a leg, we can see clearly the scales! Is been reported that she for the most part is wearing a body part except from the shoulders up,

what do people think of the scales? I really like they look like they did from OT and you can't tell it's a suit so I'm happy!
