How do you know they are fake? It's validity has neither been confirmed nor denied by the studio. As a matter of fact, the character concept designs weren't touched upon at all by the studio. We didn't know they were real until images of the film's production logos leaked.

These rudimentary designs look like they could be for a video game tie-in from the film.

yeah, when the other concept art was leaked, it had the same 'low rez' look that these newer art pieces have.

It'll be interesting if Oa looks like the way it's been depicted in concepts because it really looks trippy. And we want trippy in alien worlds. That's why I didn't care for Pandora in Avatar as beautiful as it was; it was too familiar.

You can say it as many times as you want, but your assumption has no validity without facts to back it up. Octoberist and I are relating this to the concept art that leaked online months before the film began production. It only last month that it proved to be valid.

Have you talked to anyone involved with the film about the artwork? If you have then you should definitely share that info.

yea i am sure we will see official release at least by/at comic con of at least a full render of ryan as hal. No reason they wouldnt. Then of course post comic con to when ever the first teaser is out in fall more things released.

Just because it's concept art for a film or a video game based off of one doesn't mean the artist used the actual actors in their designs.

When they do concept art, in most cases, the art piece of the character may not resemble the actor.

Kinda like Heath Ledger as the Joker; none of the art concepts looked like him but they did share the same 'make up' overall design.

If the suit is CGI - I'm guessing to show it's "flexibility" and connection to the ring and the wearer's whim, they I would expect at some point for Hal to generate a hi tech suit armor of some sort to protect himself--yes not unlike Iron Man, if not maybe a little alien looking or something. Until of course he realizes the potential and power of the ring and such constructs become un-neccessary.

Will Reynolds be wearing a mask in this movie? If so, that would probably physically on set. If we never see a pic of him wearing a mask I'm guessing tat GL will go maskless throughout the movie, or at least until the end.

as i said in the set photo thread, its great to get a peak at the motion capture suit he is wearing for the film. to at least see how things are going behind the scenes. cant wait to we see the render look of the completed costume.
