Apocalypse Costumes of the 80s

I rather liked the uniformity of the uniforms - it increases the chance of me getting a full set of matching action figures and makes customising them easier!

I agree that the colours on the piping should be bolder - blue for Scott, green for Jean, white for Storm, and yellow for Beast. The X3 colours were a bit washed out because they didn't bother customising Angel (I think his badge might be light blue) or Rogue (in some shots she has a dark green badge) and they went for silver for Colossus instead of his Russian red and yellow. Some X-customisers have made figures with more traditional colours and they do look quite cool.

The leather is horrible and i really hope they dont bring it back at all. They dont have to use bright vibrant colors like hot pink or anything, but some color even if its a darker color palette would be fine no more boring black or drab brown, add some color in the mix.

I'd like to see the blue and yellow outfits back, I mean it would go full circle with FC even if its not the exact same costumes but at least the same sorta colour scheme

I don't really agree with the idea that because it's the 60s so we can give them yellow and blue outfits but as time goes on the outfits need to get darker, I see that as abit closed minded and unimaginative

I completely agree, also its a shifted timeline so we dont have to have them work toward the leather they can go in a completely different direction. I hope they do this and just modernize or change the actual costumes they wear to make it fit for a movie.

I don't know what Fallout is

honestly, I really don't know much about fallout, either (other then that its a game, that concept art is from fallout 3)

I just came across that pic looking through some cosplays sets (an it made me think of the original x-men costumes) and looked up that she was cosplaying fallout 3

but those outfits remind me of the ones in FC, which I hope they don't bring back in any form.

maybe, but, the ones from FC were probably the closest thing we've had to comic accurate uniforms, I was just using that as examples in terms of the different materiel, slightly different style being a decent transition form FC

though, I could also understand wanting them to transition away from matching outfits, to them having individual looks

Hum, i don't think a lot of people want to bring back leather. It isn't simple like you want blue and yellow costume from FC or black leather from OT.

Personally, i don't wants FC or OT costumes because i prefer something different. So, i think black and yellow is a good combination .

IMO, i think the concept of classic X men costume is very subjective .

I'm fine with uniforms, it's just the blue and yellow design that I don't like. I'd like costumes with black as a uniform colour and personalized colours that stand out.

I'm over the all black costumes, I feel like they should definitely go with blue and yellow, or each character having a unique uniform like in the 90s. It's been over due and it would be refreshing.

I hope we get more costumes like in first class. The pilot suits work and fit well with the story as they use the x-jet.
I'm pretty sure color blocking is a trend of the 80s so I hope to see vibrant yellow and blue.

if they re use this exact costume design I would be happy, just so long as we see the costumes on screen for a decent amount of time.

Oh, I do like those! This is the 80's so they can definitely get away with more colorful, gaudy or outrageous costumes. They'd be crazy not to take the 80's theme and run with it.

I also do like the looks below if they remove that stupid underwear on the outside look on Scott and maybe make Jean's into a miniskirt of some sort?

That's exactly what i want, black and yellow, perfect mix between FC and OT suit. Funny, i can see Sophie Turner and Taron Egerton on this picture.

I personally want storm to have her goddess roots first before the punk. Perhaps in the next film, gambit brings out the edgy side to her
