I really hope we finally see a bald charles this time.
If Lucas is in this movie, I would prefer him having team called X-Factor.
Havok will be 37 in 1983, can have his own team.
Help X-Men to beat Apocalypse.
Did Rob Liefeld draw that?
They have feet, so clearly not.
This unused design from DOFP

is probably the best comic adaptation that I've seen so far from Bryan's team (I still can't believe it wasn't picked... it has a RED X-BUCKLE!! And the gloves!!). I desperately hope that this time around they at least make an attempt to go to the source material for inspiration. I would love for the costume designer of Apocalypse to do what this particular artist tried to do for Wolverine... even though they ultimately chose a different idea from him haha. (It was posted by designer Joshua James Shaw, so I'm not sure if he was just interpreting Louise Mingenbach's designs or if they are his own originals.)

Yet in the film, he looked completely different (not bad though, and I guess I liked the Pink Floyd reference). All I'm saying is that there's so much to do visually that won't fall into camp, and they've barely tried!
It boggles my mind why they would pick that hideous silver jacket for Quicksilver when they could've gone with that simple baseball/color-blocked white and blue shirt.
Was the silver jacket to take attention away from the stupid wig?
I'd much rather have the jacket over the wig.
Absolutely. I get the love for the comics and animated series, but that would be straight cosplay realness. I think some kind of compromise would work. Like Asteroid-Man was saying, take out the cheesier elements like sashes and underoos. However, there definitely needs to be a unifying theme. X-Men members have always toggled between matching uniforms and indvidual ones. Most of them don't really have "iconic" looks... just elements that are their own thing.idk, I kinda want a unified look for everyone.
While the mish-mash looks of the 80's and 90's look good individually, and are what are most popular/known (thanks to the animated series) as a team they look a damn mess.
Almost everything with X-Men costuming boggles my mind.It boggles my mind why they would pick that hideous silver jacket for Quicksilver when they could've gone with that simple baseball/color-blocked white and blue shirt.

Between those X-men: Evolution and Alex Ross designs, really though, do we want teens in skin-tight spandex in different colours?
They'd look like Power Ranger rejects.
