Could Spider-Man 3 being dark mess up the success a little?

You know, with the parents and kids? Parents not wanting their children to see it because Spider-Man is evil and Venom is in it?

Anyone else think so?

(Venom being a big black scary looking monster?)

I thought the same thing for Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire once they moved it up to PG-13, but it was needed and its the best one yet and it beat the other 3 also.

That's different though.

Spider-Man, yeah little kids look up to him, but after this movie parents and kids might think different.

He isnt going to be bad the whole movie, and so far from what we've seen he hasnt been a bad spidey yet. And at the end of the movie he'll get rid of the symbiote and become good and kick the villains A$$35

If he's done right then the Symbiote should take over quickly.

No way.

Spider-man will always be for all ages.

The same was with ROTS. It was very dark and last episode in SW franchise, which made very high numbers.

The same will be with Spidey 3. I doubt it will make more than Spidey 2, but I am sure it will make more than $330m.

I hope it whoops the first two movies in the box office.:D

I suppose you're right with Star Wars Episode III.

Idk, since Spidey 2 was the best of the franchise and many people loved it, more will probably come back to se a new one, so im saying it will make 430 (at most)?

From the shows that are on t.v. nowadays,I don't think this movie will mess up the success at all.

500 million would be great but it won't happen.

True.

On some shows on Cartoon Network they cus and the show is rated "PG" lol.

During the day too. Not Adult Swim.

spidey 2 did over 300 million domestically and that hospital scene is straight out of a horror movie.

The hospital scene.

I loved that. Violent and great.

I hope we get another scene like that in Spider-Man 3.

The same what I think :)

I loved Darkman and Evil Dead 2, there were enough good ideas from horror movies with amazing vissual style.

I wonder what the dark scene in this will be?

Green Goblin: We'll meet again Spider-Man!

-Spider-Man(2002)

We don't need another line like that. I hated that.:down

Ugh, I'm sure some parents will be protesting. I remember that mother that protested about Anakin turning into Darth Vader. Parents will always find something to whine about.

idc, Spider-man will have to be a bit dark for Peter's character development if u ask me

Hey, Harry Potter movies looks very dark ans makes VERY HIGH numbers.
