Think about it. X-men and Spiderman came out around about the same time last decade. Suddenly they both being rebooted about the same time. Do you think people will say "Oh well, they're obviously intending to reboot it every ten years so this one film doesn't matter"?

I'm not sure people are going to fully realize X-Men is a "reboot". They already watched a prequel with Wolverine. They've never actually seen the formation of the X-men.

Who cares if it clashes? I just hope they both rock.

x men is not a reboot imo for them to reach where they were in x1 they would have to do alot of x men films if they are starting with first class lol

I think this may have played a part in the re-boot.............

Gotta say.. Who Cares?? Like Ninja said, hope they both rock.

First Class is not a reboot. It's a prequel that adheres to the continuity of the previous films.

They even brought back Bryan Singer himself (the guy that started the franchise, to begin with) to direct it.

Not unless they release on the same day. And that isn't going to happen. Sooooo yeah this thread is ******ed.

X-Men, Spidey, Avengers, BB3 in the same summer. Hell yeah.

How can First Class be a reboot... Wolverine 2 is happening after that, which continues from Xmen Origins Wolverine

Now if we want to talk about something that needs reboots its the X-men franchise. Those films were basically Wolverine and friends, and even still, he's the first one out the gate with his origin film. The whole trilogy was basically his coming of age story, they need to do justice to the whole X-men team

If both come out at the same time, box office wise it could be a problem =/
