Sequels Creatives for the MCU X-men

The thing is blue and gold don't mean anything unless they literally call the squads, blue and gold which IMO is cheesy when they could label the squads, as Storm's squad and Cyclops' squad. So I prefer the X-Men: Insert subtitle for the film titles. I also hope they keep the titles consistent and we don't get titles like X2 and Dark Phoenix.

I still like the idea of using xmen blue and xmen gold. That way there’s a better chance of everyone seeing their favourite x-character
That would be my ideal scenario if they were to do separate teams and then combine them. And I like those names. Maybe an X-Men: Red later too.

Director:
David Fincher or Steve McQueen or Drew Goddard

Directing tone: grounded, serious (there is a way to adapt the costumes to fit the real world, just give them strategic importance)

Writer: Aaron Sorkin or Dustin Lance Black or John Ridley or Drew Goddard or Steven Lightfoot

Writing focus: controversial politics (I would have loved for Chris Claremont to write it), grounded, stakes are even higher due to caring about the world the characters inhabit

Or Director/Writer: Drew Goddard

Composer: Trent Reznor

New Angle of MCU: ground perspective of the politics of the MCU, we've seen the government and military - never what it's like for the people on the bottom except for in the Netflix shows.

Rumors has it that Channing Tatum will play Adam Warlock, not Gambit anymore.

posting the same comment on multiple threads around the board?

@AResistor, definitely! I think I'd like to see the same old politicians/scientists but also the general public, the humans on both sides of the mutant debate, the mutants living underground and in the sewers, those asserting power through terrorism, those who believed in a special form of education like Xavier and later Emma Frost did (the rival school). After nearly 20 years of X-Men films, I'm very surprised there haven't been any big riot scenes with Sentinels or even a well-developed human love interests. Those are two big hopes of mine for Marvel!!

I just realized Fox missed out on James Cameron for the X-Men franchise. I think an Asteroid M film would've been great from him, reminiscent of Titanic a bit but also great sci-fi like Avatar and Alita.

I guess Disney will be acquiring Avatar and Alita as well? Most of their franchises seem to be family-friendly.

As long as they don’t have giant eyes haha.

No, I think Cameron has had his time and there’s heaps of directors who could do asteroid m justice

Maybe so. he just seems to have a thing for sci-fi: the original terminator, avatar + alita battle angel...??? Maybe he's too established but if they'd invested in a director like that, they would have made quite a gem.

Yeah but he’s definitely the guy who would crack the poops with marvel for having too strong a hand in his films.

Getting someone on the talent level of early James Cameron though might be fun
