CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM: Season 6 discussion thread.

No, its the Funkhowser's daughter I think. I'm not sure who plays her.

A quick jump to IMDB and TV.com confirms it was Blossom, (Mayim Bialik).

Thanks Dark Carnage.

Btw, plz tell me that's not Christian Bale in your avatar. :csad:

Speaking of Funkhouser, I don't get him. When Larry said Cherly left that night, he said none of them would have met Cheryl if it wasn't for Larry. Then later, he told Larry the Funkhousers chose Cheryl.

Damn i wished Larry had ended up with Lawless.

WTF?

That's Dennis and Charlie from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

That means you're not watching it, you should be.:cmad:

Phew, i thought it was Bale. I would have lost a tad of repect for one of my fav actors seeing him dance like that! LOL!

And btw, Funkhauser always comes off as being a bit bi-polar to me.

Yeah, me too. He also called Larry his best friend a few weeks ago. Go figure.

For some reason I think Larry has a season 7 already written, because every episode in season 6 is pretty good, pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty good.

Man I love this show. It pains me that some people just don't "get " it. I am the only person I know who likes it. Some people just dont like that style of dry humor I guess.

What's also strange is that a lot of people who hated seinfeld enjoy Curb.

I was wondering why Jerry Seinfeld (he made just a cameo) and Michael Richards never appeared as guest stars in the show. Does anybody knows why?

Jason Alexander and Julia did it, and I think that Jerry and Michael would do a great job in this show where there is no script and actors must improvise all the time.

Great, great ep. I actually felt sorry for Larry this ep, he ran into one mishap after another.

And who is that woman who played the Doctor? She's looks very familiar....

Michael Richards and Larry have apparently always had a very rocky relationship. There are even rumors that Richards was a big part of the reason Larry stopped working on Seinfeld. Though I must admit, tonight's episode was almost tailor made for him after his debacle last year and the use of the N word in this episode.

As for Jerry...I honestly think its just a matter of a creative decision. Having Jerry featured on the show (his small cameos in the pilot and season 4 finale don't count) would pretty much turn it into a gimmick episode, and I think both Larry and Jerry would like to avoid that.

One person I would like to see guest star is the real Kramer, Kenny Krammer. He was Larry's neighbor after all.

Y'know, I have to think that the Michael Richards incidient earlier in the year at least in part inspired this episode.

But yeah, I felt really bad for Larry. For the first time in Curb history...none of the mishaps in this episode were really Larry's fault. He was just a victim of bad timing. I felt really bad for Larry when he was remembering Cheryl. David deserves an Emmy for this season.

OH! BY THE WAY! ON THE PREVIEW, THE ANNOUNCER MADE A POINT OF SAYING "ONLY TWO EPISODES LEFT THIS SEASON"!!!!! HMM...FIRST JEFF TALKING ABOUT "FUTURE STORY LINES" AND NOW THIS! THINK HBO AND THE CREATIVE TEAM KNOW SOMETHING THAT WE DON'T!?! :woot:

That's what i was thinking, there would be another season considering HBO would probably annouce that the series was ending if it truly was.

they always say 'this could be the last season' it happens all the time, i told you ****s that on the first page...

Great episode. I'm glad the Blacks came back. Larry needs someone in his life. I don't get it though. Why didn't he just say "N-Word" instead?

Because he is Larry David and he doesn't think before he talks. Besides, Leon, Auntie Rae, and Loretta's reactions wouldn't have been nearly as funny if they over heard Larry say "N-Word."

But yeah, I too am happy he got the Blacks back. It was cute the way Larry hugged Auntie Rae at the end.

The Doctor was played by a Seinfeld alum, Sue Ellen Mishke, the braless wonder.
