well i did request this battle in the marvel charecters t-ment, yet it wasnt considered by the tyrant in charge of it. so i am curious to what you guys think about the outcome of this battle.
yeah i know ya hate those vs threads, but you dont have to answer, and if you do...great!

Silver surfer vs Magneto.

i read in wikipedia (or marvel database) that magnetos shield could stop a blast from galactus, so im curious on how the surfer would do against him. also, surf is technically metal, despite the power cosmic.

so tell me what you think.

'tis tricky. The power cosmic is, well, cosmic, and...er, powerful, so at first glance i'd give this to SS. however, at his peak, Mags can do some pretty impressive stuff, for example: opening up worm holes (don't ask me how the f&<k he did that). Magneto's power varies to wildly, in my opinion, to have a definitive winner to this fight.

mags cause not only his magnetic powers at his disposal he can use any energy related to electro magnetism
so basicly he could use lightning against SS

Obviously, you need a little crash course in some of the Surfer's powers:
- Matter transmutation, from the big stuff (steel into lead etc.) to the little stuff (such as changing a plant's colour etc.).
- Cosmically enhanced perceptions. It is VERY hard to surprise the Surfer.
- A resistance to injury (flying through a supernova, the extremes of temperature, withstand light-speed travel).
- He's also a top-notch energy manipulator. Lightning would get absorbed in a snap.
