Yeah... basically, the Mystic Falls gang have twice-now committed genocide. :woot:

Genocide against bloodsuckers. Excuse me while I play Finn and Kol's lines the world's tiniest violin. :o

But I am a bit surprised Klaus was so ******** about Kol when he barely even gave a **** when Finn died.

I was laughing when Jeremy tried staking Bonnies mom and all Bonnie did was try to calm him down. I wouldve tk'ed his butt out the door.

She probably would've cared more if her mother had actually BEEN a mother to her.

You’re using an April episode of The Vampire Diaries as a backdoor pilot for a spinoff centered on the Originals. Do you have a grand plan for Vampire Diaries in terms of how many seasons it will go and how it will end?

Kevin and I, early in season 2 in fact, were sitting in a mall in Atlanta drinking Diet Coke, missing a deadline, and writing in the public area because it had Internet, and we came up with the way we see the series ending. I think the question in a show like The Vampire Diaries is really how Damon, Elena, and Stefan’s journey ends. We know how we want Elena’s journey to end as it relates to both her character and her relationship with the two brothers, and how we want the brothers’ relationship with each other to end. So that could come in year 6, if [the actors] decided they were ready to move on, or it could come in year 10, you never know.

What was the point of removing Damon from play? For that matter, didn't the gang used to drink vervain regularly just so that compulsion thing wouldn't work on them? When did they stop? WHY did they stop? That was forgotten way too easily.

damon was locked up because kol compelled him to kill jeremy. all of the vervain was destroyed last season. that's why bonnie was shocked that her dad was able to find some to spike the town water.

I SWEAR if ANYONE, especially Klaroline haters, after this episode says “but klaus killed Jenna!” I will smash their face….

 Pretty much cements my lack of respect for this show's fanbase. Christ Almighty, what a group of idiots...

This past episode was awesome. How can Elena even be mad at Stefan? The guy has given her like 100 chances and honestly Rebekah is hot as hell and has more history with Stefan than Elena. I can't stand Elena right now. So how many people think Silas will rise but he won't be as powerful as everyone thinks and will be the Big Bad next season?

I say kill Elena & replace her with Kathrine. It's a win win for everybody

I say let Elena be with Damon and have Stefan with Katharine. That's a win for show for
everybody.

The writers of this show give the characters such quick emotional turn overs and they expect the audience to be right there and along for the ride.

Example: Elena needs to be mad at Stefan right now in order to not only fuel the triangle but to edge it/her more over to Damon for the moment. So they have Stef sleep with Rebeckah and have Damon bring it up. All this equals the audience responding accordingly. WAIT. How many times has Damon sleep with that character again? Didn't that character just compell these people to almost kill each other, why is everyone over that, why do we need this new fuel(her sleeping with Stef) to get everyone against her again(no matter she'll b forgiven in a few eps anyhow).

Isn't Bonnie mad at Jeremy for all sorts of prior contrived transgressions? All will be forgotten when Jeremy does something new to her(like kill her mother(surprised the writers didn't go with that angle)).

It's just such a strangely written show and I honestly only watch it for the mythology. Other than that, I miss Buffy.

And what's with these people seemingly sleeping in their houses and going to school and dances when they are at the same time hiding for their lives day in and day out.
Drives me nuts.

or shane is silas and this whole thing was about him getting his powers back.

Oh Gawd the fangirls on twitter... "KOL MEANS EVERYTHING TO ME!!!" Really? The character who played only a supporting role in about five episodes means everything to you? Your life must be fairly empty...

I'm honestly not sure whether to laugh or cry...

I like Rebeckah's character more than anyone else on this show, because she seems like the only genuine one on the show. She has presented her motivations and the **** she has done to the others is justified when you consider all the times they have daggered her or were responsible for her being daggered, and I just feel sorry for her for having to put up with Klaus for centuries. I mean at this point she could compell them all to **** off and die and I would be ok with it. When it looked like Stefan was going to dagger her AGAIN I was ready to put my remote through my tv screen.

And I agree about the writing on this show.

Oh, I have no doubt Silas is going to be as disappointing as Erectile Dysfunction. All the hype, but just can't get it up. He will stalk around town like a brooding emo child and be all talk. The writers have already messed up. No self respecting hell on earth uber vamp would give two ****s about these panzy ass vamps and their human crap. He would either ignore them all-together or slaughter them all, but that can't hapen so instead through some contrived BS he will spare them and get involved in their crap.

And what the hell was up with Kol not sticking that stake in Elena's heart? Here, he has her on the ropes and he sticks it in her gut? He needed to get Jeremy's arm so killing Elena was the logical thing to do. Instead he leaves her in a position she can easily wiggle out of and save her brother at the last minute. I know they wont kill Elena so why even put her in a scene like that?

Shut up, you! :argh:

i was thinking here we go again. i'm glad stefan had a change of heart.

i'm now afraid that if rebekah takes the cure, they'll kill her off shortly after. at least as a vamp she could always come back if she's not staked by the white oak stake.

I don't know, given that the planned spinoff is titled The Originals, I doubt that they'll limit themselves to having only two Originals left standing.

So far, we have Joseph Morgan (Klaus) and Daniel Gillies (Elijah) on board for the jump. No word yet on Claire Holt (Rebekah) though. But if she does, between her and Phoebe Tonkin (Hayley, who is slated to be on The Originals), all the show would need is Cariba Heine and they'd have a H2O reunion.

CW should really try to give their other shows half the promotion they give TVD. Maybe the ratings will go up.

Who was that playing Shane's wife? She looked familiar to me...
