CW: The Final Battle

Aren't there solicts for captain america post civil war? My prediction is that tony is the one who takes the fall. I don't think he'll die, but be seriuously injured, i mean out of all the heroes in this battle, if tony's armor fails he's deadmeat. That will pave the way for him to take the shield gig and a new man in the armor.

Tony is superhuman sans the armour now.

Tony will somehow reject the extremis, and we will find it's been influencing him in his decisions. In rejecting it, he will become crippled in some way, until a new writer comes along and fixes him again.

That would be as simple as rejecting your own DNA.

Aside from it ending, and as much as I'm looking forward to seeing who wins, I'm really wondering now if Cap is gonna make it out alive. I mean, Captain freakin' America for **** sake. Part of me is doubting this whole speculation that he'll be the one to bite it, then causing everyone to feel remorse over their actions. 'Specially Tony. And I know a lot of the clues we have now are pointing to that direction, (with the whole cover of Cap and the newspaper, etc), but like I said before, I'm doubting it's going to happen.

And if I'm wrong, I'm wrong.

Also, what if this whole Bucky being Cap thing turns out to be true?

Thats true but what would you call a character that relies only on tech to gain there abilities, Mach IV, Blizzard, Dr. Octopus, etc...

He isn't totally helpless. He's been in a few situation where without his armour, he still kicks ass.

In fact, Illuminati, where he beat the crap out of a bunch of Skrulls, sans any upgrade, and a failing heart.

I like Bucky, but I hope that doesnt happen, that would be like Nightwing taking Batmans place. It wouldnt be horrible but it wouldn't be great.

Ben's already been confirmed to be in the new F4, there are multiple threads and pics showing it. Thing, Torch, Storm, and BP will be the F4 after CW.

Ya, that's what I meant earlier on. I really don't want Cap to die, but others have had the Captain America mantle besides Rogers in the past. I really don't want him to die, but I can see it happening. I really hope it doesn't tho.

Also can anyone remember the quote from JQ on a fridays interview. I think it was just about Spidey, but something like, "Who said it's even him in the costume?". That was probably just teasing fans, but who can say whether it's Rogers or Stark in the costumes or not, we just know Captain America is on NA, and IM on Mighty. Don't get me wrong, to me those two are those characters, but just saying it's not uncommon to put other ppl in costumes and carry on the name, Rhodes wore the IM suit before, a few have been Cap as well.

Either way this time I hope they keep a lid on it until it ships. So far we've known what's going to happen via links well before an issue has come out. On a positive while a lot of CW has been predictable, it seems like the end has us guessing finally .

Hawkeye began training as a child, PLUS, received training from Captain America upon joining the Avengers.

Stark didn't even START basic hand to hand training with Cap until Iron Man #125, long after the events in Illuminatti supposedly take place.
