I didn't assume you were anything. I was talking in general. People were offended on behalf of mike pondsmith for cyberpunk 2077 for being racist (which pissed him off, as he actually helped develop the game), people are offended on others behalf a lot of the time. Which is bloody stupid.

CD Projekt RED Reportedly Working On Two More Cyberpunk Projects

Looks like CDPR are fully committing to Cyberpunk. I hope they can also get back to some dark fantasy at some stage though. But at least it’s great news for this franchise. Just hope that first game is a total knockout.

wow I'm black have mixed , cousin's both black white and asian will likely have latino too & have seen the anime & never had a issue with how the major looked like they made them to look like mixed race characters for wider appeal and that how most of the maker want japan to be more open these days. and the fact that they started to add more race's then just their own or the race from europe in a good way like in sword art online for one of many next to beck Mongolian chop squad which predates that one but was of a different gerne theme wise or the recent psycho pass animated movie where had their japanes inspector's with their crimial's charged agents take on mecenarys that from other countries .

Did love the 45 min demo. Begs a lot of questions and seems to suggest the whole mission could have gone incredibly different. If you grabbed the gun could you have rescued the guy from the corporates? Would that mean you could have just bought the droid and not fought those guys? Would both have become contacts? That just from one mission. Does seem to open up a lot of possibilities.

Yeah tons of possibilities and consequences. Considering the source material, I wouldn't expect anything less.

I can't wait to play in this game's sandbox.

The dystopian RPG will feature multiple endings meaning your own choices matter, you can complete it without killing anyone, and you won’t even have to worry about a morality system keeping track of what you get up to in Night City. However, developer CD Projekt Red now seems to have confirmed one big restriction – you won’t be able to attack kids or story NPCs.

User Masoncool4566 has posted a screenshot on (via Gamerant) of what appears to be a direct message with the official Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter account, in which they asked the devs if they would be able to “kill regular people” in the game. The response said “you won’t be able to attack children or NPCs connected with the plot”. The whining about the Major's casting always seemed like people just trying to virtue signal or people that werent actually familiar with the anime and manga:

Physically the Major has never been distinctly asian. And her name being asian doesnt mean jack ****. It doesnt change the fact that she doesnt look asian and isnt asian. A name doesnt determine a person's race. Plus she's a cyborg so she isnt really any human race at all.

Also was there outrage when Scorsese remade Infernal Affairs as the Departed and cast a bunch of white people in the roles? Or when The Ring and Grudge were remade with white actors in the lead roles?

And then they gave her an Asian mother in the film. Come on Marv.

The owner talked about this. When he and his partner were looking for finance for the company they managed to keep a big enough share that they retain control of the company so don't have to bend to the whims of the money men.

Many of the other big devs have the opposite mindset and want to milk their customers to the max while providing as little as possible. It’s almost like a battle with their captive customers whereas CDPR act as if they are wholly on our side.
