Tell me one thing......does cyclops have his own long standing series that has been overwhelmingly popular since the early 80's???? Is Cyclops on the cover of his OWN game, or perhaps the solo portrate of an X-Men title?????? Maybe Cypclops has the majority of toy sales???????? Or perhaps he took the lead in every single pole that has been taken since before the movie came out????? NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO!NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO!NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO!NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! Wolverine has, time and time again, proven to be the fan favorite, and I am truely sorry if you obsession has grown to the point of throwing out pure and simple fact!

I know that Wolverine is more popular than Cyclops, however that's not the point. The point is Cyclops is the leader of the X-men period. And Just because Wolverine's merchandise sells more than others does'nt mean he's suppose to have the spotlight on him in every X-film. Wolverine's popularity brings in money and I think Fox took advantage of that.

Thats cool, but Wolverine in the movies takes everyone's roles. He doesn't save Jean, he doesn't lead the X-Men, he doesn't run the school....as he does everything in the movies.

He isn't a Professor of Art either.

Yes I did admit I'm a fan of Wolverine of the movies, that's how I became a fan of the series. But I love the series now, and once again I have to say I think its not Wolverine who takes the roles. The directors/producers decide this for them. The actors/Characters don't do that

I am a wolverine fan but I am a little tired of seeing wolverine being the main charcter in x-men movies. Also the fact that cyclops is dying that early in the movie just plain sucks I dont really like cyclops but I do think he should of had more of a chance to be the leader that he is in the comics. To be 100% honest... Jean seemed to be the main character in X2. I liked that very much. All in all Wolverine only had a few more minutes of screen time than her, barely more at all. I loved it.

actors, if big enough, can change scripts for more lines or scenes with their character. they do this for more screen time and that equals more money. its done all the time with movies.
