Drama Damon Lindelof Developing The Leftovers at HBO

I'm liking the show so far. I like how it approaches its themes and how is stays character-driven.
Breaking Bad was also slow as sh** the first season; so judging a show by the first 2 episodes is just unfair. Let it breath, let it expand, let it find its footing.
Everyone wants everything now! fast! good!.

This show needs more Christopher Eccleson IMO. and based on the 3rd Episode preview it looks like its an episode featuring him so Cool. As far as every thing else goes I don't mind this show the 2nd episode was alright doesn't really bore much.

Everyone I know is judging because it's Damon Lindelof.

I think I've mentioned it a few times this past week but tonight's episode of #TheLeftovers is one of my favorite TV episodes of the year.

TV columnist for IGN.

I've actually heard that from a few sites that Episode 3 is good as well so who knows.

This show just may be too heartbreaking to watch. a guy goes through all that...and for nothing. :(

That's a real shame. He wrote some of the best TV episodes ever in Lost. He gets more bad reputation than he deserves.

It's not all about immediacy or wanting things fast. For instance, I have 6 other shows that I watch on Sunday and they all come on after 9 pm. This show just isn't grabbing me or thrilling me enough to squeeze it in an already packed viewing order.

And something that really doesn't help is that I just don't care about these characters who care so little for themselves. Their reaction is normal for their situation, but that doesn't mean it's entertaining for me or something I want to experience for an hour every Sunday.

That's one thing and it's fine, but judging a show by the wrong reasons is just unfair.

Wow, that episode is excellent. Eccleston slaying it big big time. The whole thing is just riveting to me, and it's awesome that they gave his character his own episode.

Last night was a great episode.

The preview for the rest of the season looks intense.

The third episode was an awesome piece of television.

The third episode WAS great. IGN was right about something!

It had a Lost-first-season flashback flavour, right?

I liked the most recent ep. Definitely the best so far. But i think IGN really overrated it.
