There are a lot of people out there who can do the voices extremely well. Can't post them do to language, but they are out there and it doesn't seem that difficult. If anything, I'd be more worried about the writing, but considering the situation, I think I'll be okay.

Basically the essence, the cadence, all that, as if Matt Stone/Trey Parker were replaced on South Park. Much improvisation was behind the voices as well which is where a lot of the offbeat performances came from. Just need to watch this …



More importantly, it’s forever tainted now. I understand Adult Swim wanting to continue cause of $$, but just because Roiland is fired creatively, he’ll still be profiting from any future seasons as creator. I’m sure his people made sure of that in his contract.

IMO, finish Rick and Morty, and do a spin-off in that world (it’s endless) and keep the talented writers, animators, voice actors employed without having to put future money in this pos’s pockets.

You have a point about the show being tainted. The animation, the way the characters are drawn, that's all Roiland's style. They can't get away from that.

If you can change Kermit, you can change Rick and Morty. I'm a big fan of the show, but the idea that Roiland, who isn't exactly a good voice actor, can't be replicated or even improved upon, just doesn't ring true to me. You just need to find the right person.

If they do a spinoff, Roiland is still getting paid. There is no way around that if they continue doing anything related to Rick and Morty. They've also already ordered another 40 episodes. That's money they've already guaranteed.

If this is true, it 100% explains why Solar Opposites and that game are a thing. He was frozen out with nothing to do.

I'm curious about Roiland and Harmon's net worth.

Other successful animation creators are worth 300 million (Seth McFarlane) and 600 million (Matt Groening) but according to google Harmon is worth only 15 million and Roiland only 4 million.

How can that be when Rick and Morty generated hundreds of millions? That's aside from their other projects.

I'm not sure but The Simpsons and Family Guy have had a significant head start over Rick and Morty. Groening's been getting rich off The Simpsons for over 30 years and MacFarlane has been profiting off Family Guy for over 20 years. By comparison Rick and Morty started at the tail end of 2013 but took a couple of years to gain traction. For as much merchandise as Rick and Morty has sold it's nothing compared to the avalanche of Simpsons products over the years.
