Despite you looking foward to craig as Bond, "some of the roles he played aren't a Bond moments" is one of the most stupid comments I've ever heard as an argument that acts against Craig. So, the roles he does in otehr movie should reflect some elements of Bond? No TF.

While I'm happy that Daniel Craig got the part, anytime I see a commerical for the DVD release of "Derailed", I'll be thinking "SHOOT, I Clive Owen to be James Bond..."

I think deep down, he would be a more universally appealing choice than Craig, but Craig is still good nevertheless.

You have no valid point here. Craig is an actor, its in his job description to act out a role he's given. If he's able to act the part why shouldn't he get the role. Think, man think.

Whenever I hear James Bond or 007 I always think of Sean Connery. As good a Bond as Brosnan was, Connery will always be my favorite. Although I was interested in seeing Clive Owen as Bond, but I really don't care.

if i remember Brosnans teaser for Goldeneye.. he was bond in that opeing shot.

There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that Daniel Craig will be superb as James Bond. Whether his hair is the right colour or not, he has the smooth yet rugged, dangerous yet cool presence not seen since Connery. He certainly looks like he could take Brosnan down in an instant.
