^ Dang, Elfman is cocky. https://heroichollywood.com/danny-elfman-batman-theme-justice-league/

That being said..I'd love a Batman reprise with full choirs..Spidermanish arpeggios..and general Elfman weirdness.

I really love this track. [YT]tNmxk5UQ4QU[/YT]
This just made my entire day. Reminds me of when someone asked Keaton if he felt jealous like Bale when he saw Ben Affleck as Batman, and all Keaton just said was, "No. Do you know why? Because I'm Batman, and I'm very secure in that."

From the tracks put up for listening here, all Elfman's material for JL sounds like recycled bobbins to me, as I said from the start, Christopher Drake needs to be brought into the WB/DC score family ASAP.

I may be wrong but I seem to recall Drake said he wasn’t interested in doing live action themes.

Drake is awesome, unfortunately he is probably seen at WB as "they guy who does the games / cartoons' music".

At least it makes sense from a story standpoint that Batman would have a different (and less aggressive) them in JL versus BVS. In fact, I feel like they even play off of each other quite nicely. The Elfman theme and the BVS theme that is.

As long as neither "Heroes" nor "Come Together" are in the movie itself, I don't mind it being during the credits. I just don't like having songs in these films. Though, interestingly, first track listed seems to be a song, performed by an Norwegian singer Sigrid.

I agree with you

Maybe that songs is something been listened to on the radio early in the film or something.

I'v always seen the elfman and williams themes on the same level of 007 and Star Wars. Would love for them to be included in the future, with different composers putting their own spin on the themes. The foundation is already there, and its rock solid.

"Justice League Theme" - Logos

That is... interesting. I looked it up and it seems to be an electronic music group.

And it's a cover of a Leonard Cohen song.

The only Bat theme songs as far as i'm concerned.

batman even has great video game scores ala Arkham City and even Origins.

I'm hoping to hear something similar to this.

This is why we need Drake, like now...

Elfman parted ways with Sam Raimi on Spider-man 2 because he refuses to follow the temp score, and no... Hero's Theme doesn't really sound Zimmer-isch. Elfman HAS used heavy percussions before. Just listen to his Planet of the Apes soundtrack. And just listen to Friends and Foes - it's old school Danny Elfman!

Maybe, but Elfman probably wouldn't be doing much film scoring, if he wasn't listening to temp-tracks every now and then, given the current state of film music.

In this Hollywood reporter composer roundtable video, he said he will generally listen to a temp once but never again too.

Goldenthal Batman's scores surpass anything relating to the character's music in terms of complexity I'd say. There's almost in a class of their own in that regard.

Also awesome news that he's using his Batman theme again.

Not to mention the current visual style of the DCEU, which is a bit more cartoon-y and unrealistic than the Nolan films, would be a good fit for Elfman's original themes. Or Williams.

There's a few good mashups of Batfleck and the Walker/Elfman themes on YT too.

Honestly, I could imagine Elfman's Batman theme working in this universe a lot better than I could with Wiliams' Supes theme.

I don't know if either would work, because you are ultimately putting a score that was made for another film into a film that it wasn't made for. Those scores were literally made for another universe.
