He could talk about what he thinks of the character and where he thinks he can lead him from the first movie. You don't need a script to do that. It seems all MCD can think of when you talk about the Kingpin is his weight (his own or Fisk's) and workout.

Duncan was a better Manute than Kingpin. He isn't close to any version of the Kingpin in my mind. Hell, if they wanted the ethnic casting, cast someone with gravitas like Ving Rhames.

Arad has been trying to get the rights back for a while now. I guess fox wants them even though they're planning on doing squat with it. But it should run out here soon and Marvel will make it themselves ala Hulk 2.

That's what I was refering to when I said they would still need a bigger studio to back it (distribution).

Ghost Rider looks good though. The Directors Cut of DD was way better than the theatrical version we received.

I didn't see the DC, but you don't make a movie for a director's cut, the released movie has to make sense.

Well, it's good when they think about the character, not their latest diet and work out program. You don't have to be smart, just not too dumb and a bit professionnal.
