But it doesn't really make sense if you put the two sentences together and read it as one:

"Maybe if he had an iron suit or a magic hammer that would explain why you keep getting your asses handed to you."

How does having an iron suit or magic hammer explain how they keep being defeated?

Yeah I was going to say, is the person in red that he's fighting in that one shot supposed to be a Hand ninja. Possible set-up for Elektra to appear in Season 2 (if it happens)? Anyway:

-The cinematography looks amazing.
-They seemed to have nailed the Daredevil/Kingpin dynamic.
-Kingpin looks awesome in general.
-If this show is this dark, then I cannot imagine what Jessica Jones is going to look like. Purple Man is even more vile/evil than Kingpin is.

Because they're a bunch if big thugs with guns, and DD is just one man. Therefore only a "big time superhero" should be able to beat all these guys.

I think the line is "Maybe if THEY had an iron suit or a magic hammer, that would explain why you keep getting your asses handed to you."

It has nothing to do with DD fighting crooks and everything to do with Murdock & Foggy losing in the courtroom, imo.

Except he doesn't say "THEY". He says "HE". And his tone of voice is different in the second segment to the first. It's almost like the second one is more of an afterthought, like he's musing out loud. In the first segment he's speaking more directly to the other person.

Ok you're right, he says "he" but the context remains the same. They just got their asses handed to them in the courtroom (by the same opposing lawer or Kingpin over and over, it sounds like), and the guy's saying it would have been more justifiable if their rival had some sort of super-powered advantage.

I agree the line is probably cut down (he probably goes on listing other super-advantages or something), but not so much as to alter the context. I disagree about his lack of directness in the 2nd part. The guy just seems like a rambler who's about to go on to say something else, imo.

Eh, didn't do anything for me. Was hoping for cinematic quality presentation. It looks rather bland and generic. Maybe I'll give it a shot. Right now, it doesn't look anything more than a standard vigilante drama on FX or something, although I enjoy FX shows when I bother to watch them.

It will be interesting to see this in comparison to the first season of Arrow cause it's hitting many of the same notes in the trailer.

Pretty good trailer! I preferred the sort of "creepier" vibe of the teaser though. But besides that, looks great. Certain shots reminded me of Born Again.

How is that a fact? Not featuring it in the trailer doesn't mean there isn't one. They didn't show the final suit either but we know there is one.

In the first trailer they did a little when they showed Matt Murdock outside and him focusing more on a specific character getting into a vehicle in the background and everything else in the image was more fuzzy looking around him.
