It would be cool if there had been a boxing vs wrestling match in the past, and Jack Murdock fought the wrestler whom Spider-Man fought.

That's who I thought it was when I first saw the poster but that was Crusher Hogan.

Costume looks cool, but that's not Charlie in the first and fifth photo right? It looks like the stuntman and I hope it's not as apparent in the show (if that indeed is a stuntman).
I wonder about the billy clubs as well, are they just two pieces of solid wood?

i don't like the cowl too much, but I can live with it

I should hope not. We've seen the MCU version of Creel over on AoS. He'd destroy Daredevil. Unlike almost every other version of the Absorbing Man, this one is *clever*. Which, given Matt lacks any supertech weapons to create an achilles heel, means there is absolutely nothing he could do to hurt the guy. Best he could do is dodge, and run, and hope he doesn't get hit ever.

Frankly, even the comics Creel overmatches Daredevil. But keep in mind that Daredevil fought Namor and the Incredible Hulk so he doesn't run. Of course, he didn't win either of those fights. He did actually fight Creel once. It was basically that kind of fight, sheer determination with no hope of winning. Essentially, he won because Creel turned himself into some material (I think stone) and Daredevil was able to find a weak point that could be cracked. Certainly, Karnak could have done it in seconds, but it still worked.

I'd rather not see that on the show and I don't think there's any reason to think we will. It struck me as an Easter Egg and nothing else. Everyone talks about this show being in its own corner of the Marvel universe, so even Agents of SHIELD is far removed (and Creel is safely under lock and key right now). But any hero can win if the plot demands it.

Haha, how can you both say that it's apparent it's a stuntman and also that you're not sure if it's a stuntman?

Those new pics are luscious. The wait is almost over.

Also, Funko is FINALLY making a DD POP:

Yissssss.

Red and Yellow costumes confirmed! :p

I'm pretty sure the poster is just a little prop we'll see on an alley wall & they threw Creel in just for a bit of worldbuilding/Easter eggy type thing. Would be surprised if he makes an appearance and if he does prolly a 3 second boxing-related cameo.

Well, to my eyes it doesn't look like Charlie, but that doesn't mean I am right. It's a small photo lol.

I do think it's Cox, it looks like his chin. Then again, I'm no expert on Cox's chin. :shr:

Awesome new Matt Murdock motion poster.

We are still part of the Marvel Universe," she explianed, "but we are not explicitly in that Agenstts of S.H.I.E.L.D. world. We're in our own corner. So the aliens came down and ruined the ciy, and this is the story of Hell's Kitchen's rebuild."
Star Charlie Cox meanwhile wasn't willing to say too much about how The Man Without Fear connects to the rest of the heroes he shares a universe with, but did say that fans should be on the lookout for "a couple of very casual Easter egg reference to other superheroes."
From: The empire magazine and the site I can't named.

So Fisk is likely involved in rebuilding the city and uses it for some shady purposes, just like many a real world politician whenever some disaster or tragedy happens.

It'd be funny if we have someone complain about the Avengers not doing enough to help the little guy or something, which is where the street level heroes come in.

So the events of The Avengers has a good amount of impact on the series? At least in the background?

Yeah, I thought it looked like him as well. Oh well, it wouldn't be a secret identity if you could be certain who it was. Although it appears Spider-Man has the right idea, only full face masks are good enough.

I'm just quoting this because it's awesome. The smirk sells it. He is Daredevil.

It makes sense for this to take place around the events of the first film. The attack would have inspired a number of people to take action against whatever else may be out there. Vigilantism is a logical step from that perspective.

I just want to see Coulson try and recruit him at some point.

Here are all of those new images in one spot:

I'd like if some SHIELD agents try to recruit him and get a serious beating for their troubles.

That poster has a real Fight Club look to it. Awesome!
