indeed, Josie's window has been smashed several times. But you could argue it kinda happened during the fight, it wasn't necessarily DD's goal to throw the dude through the window. It's obvious his enemy are beaten badly after a fight, that doesn't mean he destroy them. Even whe he lost it during born again, he didn't become Bone-breaker-man. There are more evidence of him not destroying his enemies than there are of him breaking them.
Look WT's not saying that Daredevil ought to go work on baddies with a blowtorch and pair of pliers.

Daredevil, however, should push the limits a bit when he's fighting criminals to build an aura, to induce a sense of fear. As a survival mechanism wherein criminals would be less likely to test him and as an added benefit, causing the odd would-be-criminal to think twice before even committing a crime.

If it results in a couple of busted kneecaps or the odd broken limb, so be it.

See, not the way I remember it. It was played for comic relief, so there weren't any bones broken, but it wasn't a fight either. It was usually grabs guy and asks question, he doesn't answer so he gets thrown through a window.

Show should be full on TV MA with sex and nudity.

C'mon, the guy who ran Spartacus is handling this show. It's on Netflix. Let's make it happen.

But it's still a Marvel show and I don't see them going that route.

Of course, it might suit the Karen Page storyline where she sells DD's identity. I don't know if they would even touch on that though with concepts of porn, prostitution and drugs.

5. Daredevil will have more graphic content than Marvel’s other TV shows, and perhaps its movies as well, but will still feel relatively family friendly. DeKnight’s last project was the famously hard R-rated Spartacus on Starz, and Netflix doesn’t have the content restrictions faced by Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD on ABC. Yet Daredevil won’t take too much advantage of its unrestricted boundaries. “When I came onto this there was no way I wanted to make this hard-R or NC-17,” DeKnight said. “I don’t think the material warrants that. It is a little grittier and edgier than Marvel has gone before, but we’re not looking to push it to extreme graphic violence, gratuitous nudity or anything like that. The story does not require that and I think would suffer if you pushed it that far.”

And that's the way it should be imao.

Hell yeah, I'm down for this shown. I hope it's nice and violent. Would really set DD apart from the rest of the MCU. I don't think they will get too crazy but something tells me they will knock this out of the park! So excited, April can't get here fast enough

Have to admit I'm looking forward to this just as much as AoU. Maybe more.

Be careful of the Murdock boys. They got the devil in them. #Daredevil

I guess Creel would be a young 18 year old fighter and this would be one of Jack's last fights and Matt is 13 or so because Cox and Wade are very close in age. The MCU has never "Fox-ed" up their continuity before so I'm sure this will work out.

Brian Patrick Wade could pass for a character at least ten years older than he actually is.

I don't see why people even think that there is problem.
Wade is like 37, the flashback can even be 17 years in the past (and it won't probably be that much) and he can still be a boxer.

Yeah Creel could be really young at the time of the fight, Matt could be older when Jack dies, absorbin' powers could slow or stop aging.

I wouldn't worry, no way does a detail like this just slip past as many people as are involved. Connectivity is Marvel's shtick.

I wonder if they will show this fight and whether Wade has a guest starring role. Or maybe they would get a younger actor for the part? But they could just make Wade look younger and give him hair, because it might be difficult to find another actor who looks similar enough in build and height as well as overall appearance.

To be perfectly frank, I don't feel like nudity really belongs in Daredevil aside from the Born Again, Elektra Assassin and Elektra Lives Again storylines. Seeing frontal nudity in every episode wouldn't feel like Daredevil to me. Some sex scenes? Yes. But you don't have to go graphic with them since Daredevil has never been about that. I'd also personally save Elektra Assassin and Elektra Lives Again for her own spin-off series which would leave Born Again as the only arc with graphic nudity.

Daredevil doesn't need extreme graphic gore since he's not the Punisher, Blade or Ghost Rider. He also doesn't need gratuitous profanity since he's not Jessica Jones. Elektra and Blade would go further with sex and nudity. But Daredevil shouldn't feel exploitative since that's not true to the source material.

What nudity was there in those two Elektra stories? I haven't read them before. What were they about and were they simply gratuitous or actually part of the story?

It's highly unlikely that Patrick Wade filmed a scene for this without anyone getting word of it prior right?

Why is it unlikely? If it were done in secret and no-one knew what it was for, then it needn't have leaked out.

It's not like there have been hundreds of set pictures for this production which everyone have seen. There's probably a lot that viewers will only see for the first time when it airs, including actors who haven't even been listed as being part of this production. After all, they would need to get quite a few extras on set.

Right. Also, people still can't tell me who plays Jack Murdock, let alone Creel in this. I think Keyser was in attendance at NYCC and he doesn't know the actor's name from the Jack Murdock scene that was shown. Otherwise, there has been no mention. They could have easily got Wade for a day.

You raise good points. Guess media wasn't on set as much as with the movies to the point where they spoiled the Fury cameo for IM1. In any case this is something really cool and I hope it ends up being more than just the poster.
