Some great insights.

If you look back at everyone that posted, I'm not sure one person was ever concerned let alone feel the MCU is "screwed". Not sure where you got that. It was more musings and speculation about how it will fit in context. We're excited by it. No one is worried.
Should have clarified that. I meant elsewhere not on here.
I can't believe some of the stuff I read about the Jack/Creel poster. People think the MCU is going to be screwed because they are basing what happens to Jack off of the Daredevil movie and not the comics.
In the comics Jack was still fighting when Matt was in law school. He was actually still fighting to help Matt pay for law school. Creel could be a few years older than Matt, I mean Mike Tyson was champ at age 20, so Creel could be early to mid 20s when this fight happens. The series obviously starts with Matt already a lawyer so I assume this fight takes place a few years prior and if they stay somewhat faithful to the comics this isthe fight Jack refuses to take a dive in and ends up being killed
People honestly think Marvel is going to screw up the MCU over something simple as this.
I actually think that Matt will still be a kid when Jack takes the fall. Maybe Jack can be an old veteran boxer vs Creel, a new up-and-comer.

If you look at the picture, it shows a kid leaning over a dead body and cops with dated clothes. I think this is going to be the death of Jack.
I dunno, maybe it would be better if he rubbed criminals with fluffy kittens, or made them breakfast in bed.

5. Daredevil will have more graphic content than Marvels other TV shows, and perhaps its movies as well, but will still feel relatively family friendly. DeKnights last project was the famously hard R-rated Spartacus on Starz, and Netflix doesnt have the content restrictions faced by Marvels Agents of SHIELD on ABC. Yet Daredevil wont take too much advantage of its unrestricted boundaries. When I came onto this there was no way I wanted to make this hard-R or NC-17, DeKnight said. I dont think the material warrants that. It is a little grittier and edgier than Marvel has gone before, but were not looking to push it to extreme graphic violence, gratuitous nudity or anything like that. The story does not require that and I think would suffer if you pushed it that far.

And that's the way it should be imao.

Exactly. The creators know what they want, they also know brone-breaker daredevil is not Daredevil.
I don't see the creators mention Daredevil breaking bones anywhere. Breaking bones doesn't take you into hard R or NC-17, which is what DeKnight's talking about.

Daredevil cover for an Australian magazine called FilmInk:

Just don't get why they would go with that terrible movie's take on his death. Then they are gonna have to make Matt like 10-12 years old when he dad dies and Creel will have to be 9-10 years older than him.
And you know who I didn't see mentioning Daredevil breaking bones either? Comic book writers when writing Daredevil stories.![]()
