It'd be nice if Netflix allowed a second series to go ahead before the Defenders show.

I have a feeling they won't wait if season 1 is a hit. They probably don't want the crew to move on to different things. The writers would be waiting around for a couple of years. Same with actors. They'll probably renew it for next year.

I was thinking, do you think that Daredevil might be Netflix's most looked-forward-to show yet? What if Netflix crashes with everyone wanting to see it at the same time?

I know for a fact that Netflix crashes and even deletes whole random servers on purpose just to test their failsafes in realtime.

I'm pretty sure they've got this covered.

I'm not that sure, depends if they're treating Jessica Jones as "Season 2" of their netflix series in terms of financing and filming. I do think if DD get rave reviews then they'll definitely green light season 2 as soon as they can.

Plus if it didn't crash when the latest House of Cards premiered then I doubt Daredevil would do it.

They should have D'Onofrio's Kingpin and Tennant's Purple Man team up at some point, like in The Defenders miniseries.

Like a lower tier, street level version of the MoE? Hmm, that could work. Aside from established evil organizations like the Hand, Roxxon Oil, Hydra, AIM, Maggia, etc. and supervillain teams like the Frightful Four, Sinister Six(or however many they decide to have as that number is often in flux), the Serpent Society and the Masters of Evil I don't know of any other notable supervillain teams in the Marvel U you could use to call them. I'm sure there are some but they escape me.

Well there was a group of villains called the "Emissaries of Evil" that first targeted DD back in the Silver age and later fought the Defenders:

But really if its just Kingpin hiring a bunch of mercs to take on DD and the defenders, they don't really need a name. Indeed in the 80s, Typhoid Mary gathered a group of villains to kill DD and they didn't have an official name.

I think in a gritty, street level series, having a group of villains like the Emissaries of Evil would not work. Heck, in the X-Men movies, they dropped the Evil from Brother of Evil Mutants, because in real life, people do not call themselves evil.

Even though DD would probably be on Cap's side, a DD vs Cap fight scene would be pretty badass.

They had a pretty cool run-in in one of Miller's issues. No fight though, Cap just wanted to confront DD about something and he chased him down, if I remember it correctly.

It will be interesting how they do iron fist... also if purple man is ever... well purple. im looking forward to how they get into all this comic lore

i think it will be elektra related - like possibly a woman from the back looking at matt from a distance.
