Daredevil Daredevil Official Reviews Thread

Damn son things are looking good. That screencrush review where they talk about the fight choreography = :awesome:

Also @ talion - thanks for starting this thread. It was late and I ended up dozing off.

Faraci probably waiting to retweet any bad reviews so to any following him it looks like that's all it's getting

This purely the first episode, they are going to do one a day

I am here to tell you that you can rest easy. Daredevil is exactly what you have been waiting for. Showrunner Steven S. DeKnight has done his homework and delivers a take on Daredevil that is dark, gritty, but still a good fit for the Marvel Cinematic Universe as a whole.

Yup. And for all the good ones, he'll tweet something like 'half of those "reviews/reviewers" are....' oi, oi........

Dat Screencrush review is intensifying my breathing

I'm so overwhelmed with all these waves of bad buzz.... :(

All the mentions of the fight choreography and tracking shots have me drooling.

Despite being 6’3″ and 250 lbs, Vincent D’Onofrio doesn’t quite fill that intimidating mass that Kingpin is known for in the comics but D’Onofrio’s portrayal is fascinating. This is a character who, in one sentence, could easily go from being a child to a monster. He’s a freaking sociopath that defends his cruelty and evilness as virtue and courage. He’s absolutely chilling! All the spoilers in the world could not prepare viewers for, or take away from the experience of, witnessing Fisk on screen.

*drool*

Not april fools. Saw first 5 episodes of DAREDEVIL. Fans are going to be very happy. Casting is great. Kingpin is perfect. Can't wait 4 ep6

DAREDEVIL was more violent than I expected. Some great action scenes. Each episode gets better and better.

More "bad buzz"

If you're a fan of the comics, or just want to see a good TV drama, you might want to request to have the day off because it's worth binge-watching... though, if it's like some other recent Netflix shows, there might be an emptiness once all is said and done, because you'll be wanting more. Fortunately, there are more Marvel-Netflix shows on the way... and hopefully they will be as good as this one.

So much for the "really bad buzz" :P

There naturally looms the possibility that something could go horribly wrong quality-wise in the final eight episodes of Daredevil’s first season, but the first five lay down such an epically gripping and shocking foundation that it’s truly hard to imagine things taking a negative turn. It’s smart, entertaining, and has moments so shocking that you’ll have to repress screams. Suffice it to say, Marvel and Netflix have another big winner on their respective plates.

I hope this dents Devin's ego some. It won't, but we can hope.

#Daredevil is ballsy and brutal, but also brimming with humanity. Charlie Cox plays Matt Murdock with such wit, charm & pathos; he's perfect

Also, #Daredevil has the absolute best fight scenes on "television," bar none. It's not just cinematic, it's utterly breathtaking.

In fact, #Daredevil is so good, it's one of those rare beasts that @blowryontv and I can agree on

#Daredevil is like nothing you’ve seen come from Marvel Studios before, in a bunch of great ways.

@NoelMu
Going to save my full thoughts on Netflix’s DAREDEVIL for the review I’m writing, but I will say that I find the early raves baffling.

#Daredevil in unlike anything else in the MCU. It's brutal, funny, and violent as hell. It's better than your anticipating. I promise.

#Daredevil is more #TheRaid2 than #TheDarkKnight in all the best ways. The fight scenes are brutal and fast but easy to understand.

Is he actually or are you just saying that cos it seems bad

Well, its definitely not going to please everyone. Some people will probably be turned off by the hardcore mature take on this. And thats fine, but it looks like us fans of the source material are in for a treat.
