Stephen Marcus is a fantastic choice.

Brad William Henkre (Lost, Justified, Choke) might be a good choice.

And I'm starting to think the best actor for Matt Murdock might be Joel Edgerton (Warrior, The Thing). He's young enough to be a believable lead for the franchise, but old enough to buy as a grizzled, downtrodden hero.

I think Henke has the range to be either Kingpin or Foggy. But, he's 6'3 and very capable of being intimidating. He's one of the more versatile actors who is big enough to play Wilson Fisk.

I'm someone who wasn't offended by MCD as Fisk, and I'm far less hung up on trying to get a blatantly obese/rotund actor playing Kingpin just because in the comics he's 'fat'. Give the role to someone who can actually handle the fighting scenes, and give the man some padding if necessary, to add some more 'girth'..

eh, i dunno, Joel Edgerton looks like he could play Murdock in that pic that was posted, he doesn't really have much more facial mass than Dexter. JE can look a little pudgy in some films, like aotc, but if he worked out, he could look a little leaner for the role.

I don't know where Hawkman is at these days in the books, haha, so don't know. I liked the guy from Stargate(who played the James Spader role) as HM in Smallville.

But, aye, lookswise, as long as they can get lean and mean for the toughguy role, either of them could fit either role I guess, physically, artists draw the characters different ways. So, it is down to the kind of attitude these guys are best at carrying.
I can see why folk suggest Micheal C Hall for DD especially, as he can carry that tortured soul deal that Matt Murdock has.
and i guess you might mean Hawkman has a kind of highfaultin noble warrior thing going on that Joel Edgerton could carry.
So, aye, attitude wise, I can see why they would both be more suitable for those roles, that is, if I am guessing rightly at Hawkman's characterisation.
