Daredevil Recast

Still the same story though. Not to mention the discomfort the actor always feels. Id rather they just find an actual big guy.

And I still think Ving Rhames could do it. Yeah hes black and kinda short but I dont really care. Hes always looked kinda big but is actually really strong and tough. Hes a much better actor than MCD and would be more believable as Kingpin than MCD.

Too bad the boxer "Butterbean" can't act! Kingpin all the way!

I really like the idea of Chi McBride as Kingpin. He's a better actor than MCD and just as tall.

And just to throw out another name for Daredevil, how about Jeffery Donovan from Burn Notice?

That could be interesting.

Love Burn Notice but this guy is The Question for me.

Could work... I don't see why MCD would have to be replaced however. If we had a do over with the origin story, then OK... but if a 2nd film, just moves forward, even with a retconned past (ala TIH), I am holding out for MCD.

I wonder if they can make Billy Zane look bulky fat???

there are prolly plenty of fat white guys who can act just need to shave

^ Its not just fat though... James Gandolfini is clearly fat... but that is not what Fisk looks like. He looks like... Duncan.

Right, Fisk is actually mostly muscle he just looks fat. Think Bam Bam Bigelow not Peter Griffin.

Stephen Fry?

Sorry, SF83 but no. Literally the only thing that he has in common with Wilson Fisk is that he's white. No amount of make-up or acting can make Fry a Kingpin that does the character justice.

Fry was party to casting perfection already when he was cast as Oscar Wilde.

Actually, 'Stir Crazy' was on last night; anyone remember that one? Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor in prison?

Visually speaking, the guy who played the serial killer 'Grossberger' was perfect for Fisk. If they could find someone who looked like that who can also act; that'd be perfect.

If they can't - I say bring MCD back and recast the rest.

Michael C Hall as Daredevil
Ving Rhames or Vincent D'Onofrio as Kingpin
Stana Katic as Elektra
Jay Karnes as Ben Urich

IDk, he's pretty tall and fat, too

GROSSBERGER!!! Yes... obviously won't work now, but any reference to the guy who played the giant in Time Bandits, who came up out of the water with the ship on his head, is good with me.

Who is the supporting role actor who always plays a thug in comedy crime films??? He is bald and bulky fat. He is in movies like the Mask, as hired muscle for the bad guys (but he wasn't actually in the Mask I don't think).

wow, that is a good choice.... i was pulling for jensen for captain america...but i dont think he has enough star power yet for CAP...BUT for daredevil....i think the studio heads will at least give him a look....i say start the ackles support....NOW!!!

I don't.

I like Ackles but not for Matt.

Still MCH for me. A better actor and a natural ginger. :D

I know, but, they can age him up abit
(finding a guy the right size is the hard part)
alil aging make up is easier then puting a fat suit on a smaller guy

I've said it before, I'll say it again...
