DareDevil

I wonder if Waid will ever bring in Dakota.I liked her.

Oh, I didn't even know he'd unmasked to the Avengers.

He's only done it for some Avengers. Not all the Avengers such as Iron Man, Thor, Black Widow, Captain America, etc. know who he is. The only Avengers that do are Wolverine, Hawkeye, Mockingbird, Ms. Marvel, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, Dr. Strange, Spider-Woman, and the late Bucky Barnes.

Dakota represented a dark time in Daredevil's life and just made him feel even crummier. It might be best for her to stay away for a while.

Yeah, I loved the Brubaker run, but looking back at it now, I get all sad and depressed thinking about the storylines. Waid's issues has me so entertained that I don't want to go back to the brooding and depressing DD storylines again. I think issue 5 is the best issue so far, I give it a 10/10. I have no complains whatsoever. This is the best superhero comic book on the stands right now.

So... he unmasked to the Avengers' B-listers? That's a bit weird.

As Darth Vader would say: "NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!" I just read from Bleeding Cool that Marcos Martin is leaving the book after #6. He's going to work on a creator owned book with Brian K Vaughn. I mean that is awesome that those two are doing their own book, but man Martin was doing such an amazing job on this book. We still have Paulo Rivera which is still fantastic but now i wonder how long? The minute he leaves the book, i might stop reading...:(

I was really looking forward to more Martin art alternated with Rivera's.

I knew Martin was leaving after # 6 but I thought it was him and Rivera switching on and off issues so they could be on time. Sucks that Martin is leaving for good. :csad: Loved his work on Spidey and Daredevil. So awesome but it's good to see he'll be working with BKV again. They did an awesome Doc Strange miniseries together! I hope that Rivera sticks around for a while now.

I like Rivera better than Martin, but I still like Martin. That rotation could have really been something. Hopefully they get someone that's really good to work in the rotation with Rivera so that the art changes aren't too different. Both Rivera and Martin are very similar so the story doesn't miss a beat.

I would like to see Martin on just any book for more than 3 issues. Even when he was on ASm, he'd do a couple issues then disappear and come back for another couple etc. etc. I would love to see a consistent run with this guy drawing. Hopefully this new BKV project will do.

I dont mean to sound pessimistic but i have a gut feeling telling me that Rivera won't be here much longer either. Hope i'm wrong.

As long as they're replaced by good artists, I'm not too concerned. Nobody quit Captain America when Steve Epting and Mike Perkins gave way to Butch Guice and Luke Ross. Let's just wait until we see who's replacing Martin before we start talking about dropping the series.

Why cant you just let me be an angry fanboy Corp? You and your sensible ways. lol But your right, we'll see who's replacing him. Or heck, if this means we get Rivera full time, i can definitely live with that.

If Rivera can swing a monthly solo, that'd be great. Not many artists can these days, though. Not even JR Jr. does it anymore, and he's a guy who used to be comfortable doing two monthlies simultaneously.

A little part of my soul dies every time someone refers to a comic story as a "season." :csad:

But that looks pretty good. I may give it a try.

That scene is straight from Daredevil: Yellow.

While I can appreciate acknowledging previous works that are very similar, as this seems to be to Yellow, it feels a little cheap stealing 5 whole pages of script. Which, if I'm not mistaken, was actually a reproduction of another script from when DD was actually wearing the yellow. Can people not write their own stuff anymore?

The book absolutely deserves it. Its wonderful and that preview looks great.

Eh, Avengers Origins: Thor stole a few pages from Thor: Son of Asgard and some other stuff. The point of this wave of origin rehashes seems to be more about organizing extant material into a concise, coherent whole to educate new readers rather than doing anything new.

I'm excited to have this book on my pull-list. It's my single Marvel title having dropped ASM after Spider-Island.
