Apocalypse Dark Beast is probably Pestilence

Assuming that Abraham Keiros is War, Holocaust if Famine and Wolverine is Death. Hank joining Apocalypse would be an unexpected development where he betrays Xavier and takes up arms against him which forces Xavier to have to band together with Magneto once again who may have betrayed him twice but is now his only hope.

This along with Xavier assembling the X-Men consisting of Cyclops, Storm, Gambit, Phoenix and Nightcrawler would be a great first act. I also expect the Brotherhood this time around to be Magneto, Toad, Mystique, Blob and Sabretooth.

The catch after the credits is that Gambit and Sabretooth were working for an as yet unknown third party interested in defeating Apocalypse who turns out to be the same man from Cyclops' orphanage.

That's how you handle the Fall of the Mutants storyline. Much as Caliban betrayed X-Factor in the original story, Beast needs to be the traitor who becomes a Horseman who nobody expects would defect.

That and Sinister needs to be the bigger bad guy. He has to be somebody in the shadows who builds himself up to be a threat over the course of several films with an agenda all his own.

Mystqiue works for Apocalypse this time, no teaming up with Magneto any more.
Also it would be boring to see this again, like in Avengers 2 they will fight with army of same robots, they fought in Avnegers with army of same aliens, boring scheme.

I'd like to see Baast be turned into a villain and really let loose, would be a surprise given his good guy status, friendship with Xavier and self-taming nature

I think mystique works the best in terms of a dark version as it would explain how she became the mystique of Rebecca romijn. It could also play into a potential relationship as beast wrestle ls for Ravens soul.

I genuinely don't think there will be many main characters as a horseman.

i assume apocalypse didn't happen in the original timeline so if apocalypse is used as an excuse for her becoming like Rebecca romijn...

at this point i don't know whether from a character development point of view they can make her like Rebecca romijns mystique

I think he pulls off a good geek but also a good savage. The challenge would be getting to be "The Beast", the team member that lives with both personalities at once, which is more what he's like in X3/X4. Depends on how they're writing him, too.

Hoults is playing Hank as a modest geek but i don't think thats his fault since Singer and Co obviously want hank to have some growth and not just be that character

Yeah thats why I think. I think they need to give this 80s Beast more charisma and make him more cool... going from the audience's reaction when I watched DOFP, people smiled and laughed when the older Beast appeared in the new future scene and Beast was one of the good things about X3.
