Rory_bat, from the SuperHeroHype forums has been on location recently for the latest TDK shoot,

He had this to say:
Alright, I am sure you guys already know where they were shooting today: Berghoff’s (I think I spelled that right), some kind of old and classy restaurant/bar type. The crew had vehicles all on Adams and the adjoining streets. The first time I walked by early on in the day they were shooting inside. They had some screens up over the exterior and I could hear them yell “rolling”. I didn’t know who was inside at this point. Outside there was a large bus that had “Corerctions” written on the side of it. It was a GPD bus, presumably for hauling off prisoners of a sort. There were also a few GPD extras milling around. I walked further down toward State St. and saw all kinds of GPD and Gotham cars waiting to be used. I figured some exterior stuff would be happening later. I wasn’t wrong.
Around 2:30 or 3:00 I made my way back and sure enough, there was quite a bit of action. There was a whole crowd of extras dressed in suits, they seemed to be reporters or maybe just onlookers. In front of this crowd was a GPD officer holdig a shotgun (very cool). Some of the extras were pretending to shiver..don’t forgett the fall setting. It was amusing to watch. A bit further down in front of Berghoff’s was were the good stuff was happening. Nolan and co. were shooting a scene where GPD and Lt. Gordon escort Maroni and his goons into the corrections bus, busting them. I stood across the street and watched (taking pics and got video of one whole take). Eric Roberts looked great as Maroni, cuffed and all. After each take they would wipe the sweat off of Oldman, Roberts and the extras, attempting to keep the atmosphere of Fall in place (certainly tough with today’s weather).

also why does this need its own thread? cant we just keep discussing it in the Chicago filming thread?

Haha, check out Nolan just chillin' and sipping his coffee in that video.

Straight up awesome.

would be funny if we could slip in a spy impersonating as a reporter for the scene. we'd get some really good video/pics that way :P

Because the Chicago filming thread is 6,524,203,119 pages long.

Every other set report had its own thread.

I wonder which thug or mob members those guys are that the cops are loading into the correctional bus?

Every other set report had its own thread because this jackass keeps making them. This is what the Chicago thread is for.

I dont know Dangerous, not his friend, but he isnt the only one making them, when Noirman made his I dont remember too many "Y does th1s n33d 1tz 0wn thr3ad" then?

The Noirman situation was completely different. Dangerous is taking other peoples set reports and making new threads out of them even though people are already discussing them in the Chicago thread. Also Noirman's reports were far above the average set reports (both in detail and content) and are responsible for revealing many things (such as that Two-face will be in TDK). This thread serves no purpose other than to cloud the boards and bump Dangerous' post count.

Was Nolan text-messaging toward the end of that shot? ("Shooting B-man flick. Fawking boring. Drinks l8r?")

LOL.

I love how Nolan has become sort of like a pop star on these boards.

What is that say? something "Room Enterance"

OMG!! He is such a jackass for making a new thread! Why the hell didn't he reply to the thread with 9,288,932,109,230,947,556,202 pages?!?!

****ER!!!

reply?? He didn't have anything to say on the topic he simply copy and pasted rory's report.

This thread is useless and the only reason it is still going is because of this petty argument. Which I feel ended with my second reply to crow. You are a few hours late with that witty "9,288,932,109,230,947,556,202" remark.

This is the second time Ive posted in this thread so my post count has only gone up that much as Im responding to your petty comments. How many times have you posted in this thread? And what have you contributed to this thread? Nothing. You havent even once discussed anything about the actual subject matter and would rather b*tch, mod wannabe!

so you didn't even accomplish a higher post count? Well I guess I could still congratulate you on your copy and pasting techniques...

I have contributed more to SHH than you ever could. The majority of my posts are highly detailed it just annoys me when I see pointless threads like this. This thread was on its way down becuase there was on point for it, my advice to you is to kindly let it die.

No AND **** already. Its like a disease, people can't stop posting this line. I think you people have it copied, and your dying to find a reason to paste it. No one forced you to post in this focking thread so lay off.

OMGZ HE MADE A NEW THREAD!!!! ATTACKZ!!!!!!!

All gayness aside, who is this Lau character? and is he from the comics or is he a Nolan creation?

Today they are filming Batman scenes in Chicago at
Lasalle and Jackson. There are about 7 Gotham City
Police cars on the street. They have about 250 Gotham
City Police officers and 20 bag pipe players. They
have a stage set (like a parade stage) with 40 or so
men in suits (city officials) and on the stage are
round funeral wreaths. I saw a Batman “runner” at
Starbucks and he said they have over 1,300 extras for
this film scene. (That would explain the 15 porta
potties lined up on Wells!) Someone big dies in
Batman…..but who??

P.S. They wouldn’t let me take any photos but I will
sneak out of work to try to get some to send later!!
