I’m certain it’ll be over 2 hours. Ideally, it’d be about 2 hours, 20 minutes. We’ll see.

2hrs seems to be the standard length of CBMs nowadays, and Apocalypse was 2hrs 27mims.

There seems to be a lot of plot threads to try and condense to 2hrs: Jean breaking down, the xmen reacting to her on the run, magneto on genosha then getting drawn into the Jean story, Chastain searching for and then manipulating Jean, etc.
Additionally, this seems to have the allot of action set pieces compared to previous x-men films without taking away from the character scenes.

Avengers Endgame will be 3 hours and 2 minutes.

I feel since Dark Phoenix is the last X-Men movie from Fox, they should put everything in it. Even Wolverine and Deadpool should have a cameo there. A perfect goodbye to the X-Men movies.

Unless they add something that takes place in the recent past/present/future, Deadpool would’ve been a kid in the 90’s. They could fit a Logan cameo in easily, but after the extended cameo that completely derailed Apocalypse, I don’t really mind the concept of an X-Men film without him. And I really don’t think Jackman’s returning. DoFP already tied up these films perfectly. So, I don’t see them wasting millions of dollars doing it again.

This film wraps up pretty neatly, too, so it will feel concluded.

who am I kidding? this will be just like all the other movies, lol. 2 hours and just very little more. Fox doesnt have the ambition of other studios, including Marvel Studios

If Fox treated the X-men like the Tier-A franchise that it is, absolutely, give me my 3 hour X-men film.
