Ah well. We don't know what happened so I'll wait and see. I mean Chabon, a great writer, wrote a mediocre script for SM2 and they took the good parts out (for the most part) and tossed the rest. Same with Miller and Gough's terrible script for that movie. Wait and see.

I'm very confident in David Lindsay-Abaire, though, I'm not family with him. Anyways, I'm hoping for the best and as I said, he seems to have done a great job with drama. Drama was a big part of the Spidey comics and is a big part of the films as well, so I'm very curious in seeing where this script goes.

Assuming that you're not joking, I don't know how you can say that. The third film was more about dealing with the romantic triangle than it was about the symbiote, which was made out to be a centerpiece. If this was like The Incredible Hulk, where the film pivoted on the three big Hulkouts in the film, then I could see your point. But most of the last film's action was sporadic and often made no sense or was lackluster.

I get that Spider-Man's story is one of drama. But the third film had way too much of it. They didn't short change the drama. If that was the case, they would've taken the Sandman out of the final act altogether and not replaced his family reunion with one of the hammiest forgiveness sequences to grace the big screen.

After Ezekiel and Mourlun all of the problems with the sins past and other series came from editorial mandate. Good ol' Joey Q.

You can read any issue drawn by Romita and it's gold. I love that Peter, MJ, and Aunt May and I wish they'd talk like that in the movies. And with him getting back into writing movies and television, now seems like the perfect time to get J.M.S. to do a draft.
