Looking more forward to this one than the last, I'll say that. Mostly that's due to Matt Reeves whose last 2 films I loved.

I just re-watched Let Me In last night myself, man what a movie, Cloverfield was awesome too, Reeves is a quality film-maker. I was gutted when Wyatt left, as I loved the 1st movie, but Reeves is an excellent replacement.

Honestly, Rise was so emotionally draining for me.

Nice poster by the way!

fantastic poster. gritty and dirty always works with posters like this.

I like the poster though pretty simple and not very exciting.

i have a feeling Caesar is going to be a badass. an action movie star haha :)

Cool poster. I wonder if that's blood or some kind of war paint.

According to someone at Collider, they have been informed from the studio that it's a fake.

Who has time to do this?

There are many creative and crazy people out there.

Hmm.

Dawn of the Apes
Dawn of the Planet of the Apes

I prefer the former, personally. And I would've preferred Rise of the Apes instead of Rise of the Planet of the Apes too.

There's too many "Of The"s happening there.

Dawn of the Rise of the Planet of the Apes of The.

But that's not how it goes. The series has always done it. Why change now

Yeah the complaints are strange since the originals movie did the same thing with the redundant use of 'of the's.

The one benefit however to shorten the titles to Rise of the Apes/Dawn of the Apes would to seperate this incarnation from the previous series.

That's pretty much a staple of the franchise.

Wasn't it actually once rumored that this film would have actually been called "Dawn of the Rise of the Planet of the Apes"?
