While I understand the desire to have Scott return, at this point we should realize that that needs time. Are you guys forgetting that the character is DEAD? They need to first think of a way to bring him back before they can o anything else with him.

But there's fan demand and he's becoming real popular in the comics. The actor wants back and we all want him back! I think there's hope.

I haven't been keeping up lately, has Marsden spoken about this?

I agree...but...I think Singer is thinking multi-movies. So...I dunno. What if it ends in a brand new universe where James Marsden stands front and center with Famke, Kelsey, Ashmore and Foster behind him. And Patrick Stewart to the side with like..a blanket on his lap. Then we get a whole new movie with them. With Sinister.

I really don't understand the expectation that Cyclops or Jean Grey would have a pivotal role in this story, especially after it was heavily implied that Days of Future would take place after The Last Stand in which both characters died.

In some other guy's body. Don't bet on them doing that for DoFP, so at this point anything is still possible.

I don't see how either of them are busy. With 14 confirmed characters, how is that any different than x2 or First Class?

Or Lord of the Rings. Or Harry Potter. Or Hunger Games.

I personally don't have an issue, i'm just pointing out the issue to the anyone who might see to raise it.

However, unlike say X2, which had it's 4 or so leads out of a larger cast. This film has many returning leads from previous films such as two magneto's and two xavier's and kitty pride and bobby who lead in their "own" movie which literally pushed rogue to the side but she's also back and storm and jean and two mystiques....Either there is going to be a bunch of cameos or there is going to be alot of juggling the likes of which has never been seen before.

I suppose the dual timelines will be the plot device that let's this happen. In which case, I will seriously miss the prospect of Vaughn's first class sequel.

I think it would be great if DoFP more or less retcons X3 and at the very least gives Jean and Scott better exits. But I'm not counting on it.

Right, and I am one of those people who believes that, when Singer says he has the opportunity to fix a few things, he means he will bring Cyclops and Jean Grey back via a corrected future. Regardless, that isn't my point. My point, as I said above, is that it seems very unlikely that Cyclops will play a pivotal role in this film. Plenty points to Xavier playing a pivotal role in the film. The same cannot be said for Cyclops.

This all reminds me of when Hypesters were so sure Cyclops would miraculously appear at the end of The Last Stand to save the day, even to the point of believing Fox was secretly floating around two different prints of the movie, but he never did.

Omar Sy may be playing snych and the twillight actor may be playing sunspot.Both were
cut from first Class.They could provide the muscle for brotherhood In 1973 since only magneto and Mystique are returning.I am really hoping 2 of remaining slots are new actors
for Banshee and Havok.I'd rather see that than Interducing new characters.

Blink could be used by wolverine and Kitty to rescue others In future from Internment camp by teleporting them inside camp.Blink can also help against sentinles.

If there Is another OT cast member to come It will probally be Rebecca Romijn but I will
admit Colossus might be last OT character to be added.

Exactly. Sunspot and Synch were supposed to be in First Class but they were cut out due to budget reasons, also Sunspot was supposed to be a brotherhood member in X-men First Class

I think 8 cast members from the original trilogy is enough.

So right now we have
8 cast members from X-Men: The Last Stand
4 cast members from X-Men: First Class
4 new faces

Looks like an epic roster to me!
