Confirmation for the 80's is great but I think I'd already made it definite in my head lol. Smart move, Xavier, Beast, Cyclops Jean and Storm is a great roster, and while I'd prefer the OT cast I'm down for this.

I sincerely hope Wolverine isn't a lead in this but it's a huge possibility. I'd rather reintrodcue Gambit in that capacity for the sake of freshness.

It also sticks to continuity of beast having an old black and yellow uniform in x3 and knowing storm from some time in the past. Granted it could be any time but it makes sense that they were on the same team at some point.

Don't know if Angel in his mother stomach in 1987 would be interesting.
He was about 10 in 1997 and 20 in 2007.
So you won't see Angel, maybe if he comes from future as Archangel.

The fact singer is still referring to apoc as another inbetweequal is really interesting to me. Granted I guess if its in between the ot and fc it is still an inbetweequal but I have a feeling we are going to see either the 12 story where characters from the OT are brought to the past orrrrr it is going to set up an OT age of Apoc film in which its possible because Xavier could be dead or magneto could be if either feel they are too old to play the roles again... ( they will never be too old to me) and have the OT finish off Apoc once and for all. It would also give time for Xforce to come out and deal with the dastardly sinister who could show up in Apoc as a side character but is then a fully fledged villain in Xforce...
The possibilities are endless!

It could also be a reason they arent using age of apocalypse as a title yet!

I hope they don't cut out Claremont's cameo. He wrote the greatest X-men stories for so long that it's about time he got a little Stan Lee kind of cameo.

I'm loving that Apocalypse is going to be in the 80's with mass destruction. I'm just crossing my fingers they don't mess with his look from the comics too much. This is Fox we're talking about here so I won't be surprised if they do alter him a lot.

Maybe it's just me, but I feel like a character like Apocalypse fits so well in the 80s... In the same way that Shaw was perfect for the 60s.
